Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Robert Procter, a science historian from Stanford University came up with the term Agnotology after studying the tobacco industry and the deliberate propogation of ignorance.
Agnotology is the study of wilful acts to spread confusion and deceit, usually to sell a product or win favour.
Skip forward a decade or so and you have the Blair/Brown deceit in trying to sell multi-culturism as a great thing and anyone that opposed it was a bigot. In fact the aim was to change the voting demographics so that Liebor maintained itself in power. Well that turned and bit their fat arses. Never mind, Blair and Brown are doing very well nevertheless.
Skip forward another decade or so and you have the great migration deceit. Oblivious to the fact that we can all see with our own eyes that the vast majority of the migrants are young able males, we are fed tragic pictures of drowned babies in order to make us all feel bad and ignore the bigger issue of the clear social and security problems ahead. The current harrassment of women in Sweden, Germany and Denmark gradually coming to light are just indicative of a much deeper problem. So who is actually trying to gain from the current propogation of ignorance?

IT - you always write interestingly, and like me you often have something of a cynical eye
in respect of the migrant issue, it is certainly very serious an it will not just go away or be a short-lived phenomenon and assuredly needs to be kept in the public eye
fred's cloud-cuckoo-land has a utopian answer for everything including this
living in the real world, and hard though it is when dealing with real people (my son returned from lesbos deeply unsettled) as opposed to numbers, each country has to make its own decisions as to what to do, and ultimately accept the consequences, whether good or bad
i won't repeat my own views as they have been posted often enough

Cops in Sweden admitted yesterday to hushing up migrant gangs sexual attacks on girls as young as 11 over fears they would spark far right attacks on migrants.
So it is not just in the UK that the authorities are playing down these attacks. Is there no one in authority anywhere who has an ounce of decency to say enough is enough?

my cynical self always asks if this is a balanced report
and i ask you what you would do next and why, whatever it is, you think it would solve the problem as you see it?

Try Rule of Law for starters, why, because we live in a civilised society. Then pressure to be put on those MP's, Police Chiefs and others in authority who have deliberately tried to cover up what is happening, and remove them.

george - openness of course, but then what? ..... if you're just saying arrest and charge (where warranted), then absolutely .... but if you're saying that more draconian measures should be taken, then that would be very dangerous and questionable path

The Law of the Land should apply equally to all, we know it doesn't in respect of prominent figures but to exempt migrants because their migrants?
I've not mentioned or hinted that draconian measures should be taken, why you include them I don't know.

Farage got hammered in the lead up to the Election , everywhere he went there were protesters . Look now he's the only one to have any credence and dealt with his knockers better than anyone . While we allow endless criminals in , and terrorist supporters to go on the streets without so much as a wimper of protest from the authorities .

stan - Utopia was written by Thomas More and was about a make-believe island where all live in harmony for the common good ...... very similar to fred's "cloud-cuckoo-land"

That stupid woman who left her job and family to spend time at the jungle in Calais as a so called charity worker has made the whole haulage industry angry.
She said lorry drivers who complain of attacks should change jobs.
I saw the programme when she was interviewed (in the calais camp) and when told that drivers were being attacked now her reply was " they could just change jobs that's not the end of the world ,this is the end of the world"
She is Clare Moseley /care for Calais .
