How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

It's a poor group the Man U one. The goals for and against are atrocious for aspiring Champions League winners. I reckon the best bet is the under 2.5 in both matches. On past history it's a dead cert.

I certainly agree with you Steve, on ManU's short price.
ManU's away record in the Champions League is hopeless, their last away win being 2yrs ago. At 1.8s is far too short!
Its going to be a very interesting group as settling for draws don't really help anyone. All 4 teams will need to go all out for a win to ensure qualification.
Most of the other games may well be friendlies.
However, the winner between Sparta and Thun will secure an UEFA place.
Udinese will want to at least draw with Barca to secure qualification as losing may let the winner of Werder Bremen v Panathinaikos have a mathematical chance of overtaking them.
Back to ManU. Havent a clue what to do yet. Naturally, my heart would want them to win but my head says no trading!

Unfortunately not around to trade tonight, but something tells me I'll probably save myself a few bob.
Good trading to those who do.

I am sure it's purely UK sentiment that is making MU so short. I agree it's way too short and have laid them at 1.88. If Benfica score first which is distinctly possible bearing in mind that they are at home and need the win, it shouldn't be too difficult to green up quite quickly. Even if MU score first, I have the rest of the game to green up - unless of course they go absolutely mad!
