I think they know better than you dear boy!

From barclays stockbrokers website today. Forecasting sales of 23 million rising to 32 million next year with earnings jumping by 90%. Draw your own conclusions from that!

And where did they get the info from? I would guess it was from Seymour Pierce which makes it the same as a house broker's note. Just a waste of space.

Envesta At Bargain Levels - Seymour Pierce

Monday, May 16, 2005 6:23:11 AM ET
Dow Jones Newswires

1012 GMT [Dow Jones] Seymour Pierce reiterates buy on Envesta (EVS.LN), says current fall in AIM stocks leaves shares at "bargain levels." Estimates EPS of 0.33p implying PER of 11.6x for 05, 0.62p and PER of 6.4x in 06. Believes upward revisions likely in June, post trading update as run rates imply earnings well ahead of Seymour Pierce forecasts. Forecasts assume no revenue from new "Cheaper Call Rate" product, but notes company says it is performing well. Expects further acquisitions "soon." Has 6.5p target, shares +5.7% at 4.1p. (PBA)

And who takes any notice of house brokers notes? Only the gullible.

Very unlikely to update in June when they will have a better idea of year end figures in early July.More than likely to give an update re CCR at the same time.In the absence of any warning i would expect a very positive staement.

And there's a nice MM buy of 100K!

Haystack - 10 Jun 2005 12:36 - 677 of 1643

I would expect more of a cautious update as the calling market is getting more difficult all the time.

Added another 125K @ 4.35p.
IG Index will not take any Long spread bets.

grevis2 - 10 Jun 2005 13:44 - 683 of 1643

It would seem we can expect an RNS this month that will show "earnings well ahead of Seymour Pierce forecasts"

GV - 10 Jun 2005 14:18 - 684 of 1643

grevis - That is what we are all hoping for ( well almost all ).
Have you heard anything to substantiate your post ?

grevis2 - 10 Jun 2005 14:29 - 685 of 1643

It was contained in this release from Seymour Pierce:

grevis - Thanks, Yes I have read the Seymour Pierce release , just thought you might have heard a little snippet of info. somewhere.

Haystack - 10 Jun 2005 14:42 - 687 of 1643

Institutional investors make the same sort of mistakes that ordinary mortals do. How many times have institutions lost all their money on a stock. Thay allow a certain proportion for high risk ventures. When they buy it may mean very littl. It can be just a balancing operation to add some more high risk stocks.

Haystack - 10 Jun 2005 14:43 - 688 of 1643

The Seymour Pierce note is just the house broker supporting their client.

How often do house brokers say SELL?

House broker statements are often ignored for good reasons. It is a sort of marketing hype.

advans - 10 Jun 2005 16:49 - 689 of 1643

It will be quite an achievement if we get into the top 100 on the Alexa Rankings as this will indicate the huge amount of hits to the Website. There is no doubt of the interest being shown in CCR and I am more than confident we will be way ahead of predictions!!!

QUINAN - 10 Jun 2005 16:52 - 690 of 1643

advan and all this before any major advertising once that starts who know where CCR will be
