Hotei - 09 Nov 2006 12:21 - 6721 of 11056

foale - 09 Nov 2006 12:31 - 6722 of 11056

its the 0.5% rise dreamers closing their longs...

I wouldnt call it plumetting though...

Melnibone - 09 Nov 2006 12:32 - 6723 of 11056

there aren't enough girlies here :)

Huh! You've gotta be joking, Chocco. I soak up more oestrogen, through
the ether, reading this and the Traders' thread , than I would get drinking
a pint of water from the Thames area. :-))

Would we have it any other way though?
Can't live with 'em.
Can't live without 'em.

Congratulations, Bakko, and extremely well down to Mrs. Bakko.
(Don't forget to get Baby Ben Bakko's ISA started early. :-)

mg - 09 Nov 2006 12:45 - 6724 of 11056

Got a sell order to open @66 but got bored so also short from 46. Stops in place @ 96 for both of 'em - I think that would indicate I've blown it :(

Harlosh - 09 Nov 2006 13:13 - 6725 of 11056

Well, just got out of hospital after a bout of gastroenteritis on Monday night. Trouble is, as I no longer have a pituitary gland I don't produce my own cortisol so I ended up very ill indeed.

The problem was I had a short triggered which I forgot about so I was short over the MPC decision - fortunately all is well now and I am still short :-))

Seymour Clearly - 09 Nov 2006 13:20 - 6726 of 11056

Hmmm, well done those who were short. Harlosh, hope recovery is quick, pleased you got through with a profit as well!

Harlosh - 09 Nov 2006 13:39 - 6727 of 11056

I have an initial target of 8958 followed by 8935 - hopefully :-))

mg - 09 Nov 2006 14:47 - 6728 of 11056

Cooking well - got 18980 as a key level. I'm leaving it until it has a go at that before closing. Stop moved down to open position so no loss stake. Have to go out

Boyse - 09 Nov 2006 16:47 - 6729 of 11056

What a great day for trading ! Hello to the FX crew .Aye

mg - 09 Nov 2006 16:56 - 6730 of 11056

Well, that's what stops are for - a neutral day - real topsy turvy stuff. Might try a log from somewhere around here - but I've got 19095 as next resistance.......

Maybe I'll just sit on my hands.

Harlosh - 09 Nov 2006 18:00 - 6731 of 11056

Well closed my short for a decent enough profit but not what I expected.

I suspect we may see 9230 - 40 area before too long.

foale - 09 Nov 2006 18:44 - 6732 of 11056

Hilary you are very quiet..

Melnibone - 09 Nov 2006 20:11 - 6733 of 11056

Here's tonight's stuff for my daughter's PDF file. I've put a bit more basic trading
stuff in it tonight, so again, remember who it's meant for. I know that
you all factor this automatically into your strategy as second nature.
So I'm not trying to teach you how to suck eggs. :-)

Harlosh - 10 Nov 2006 07:32 - 6734 of 11056

Still very long this morning looking for a big breakout.

Seymour Clearly - 10 Nov 2006 07:40 - 6735 of 11056

Also long this morning with huge great stop, ooer Mrs!

hodgins - 10 Nov 2006 08:03 - 6736 of 11056

Rejecting that breakthrough or chance to add some more long?
Any targets for the big breakthrough?

Seymour Clearly - 10 Nov 2006 08:07 - 6737 of 11056

Good question Hodgins....

We've kicked on the door of 1.91 so many times it must be ready to get broken down soon.
