Fully agree with the pipeline news and I am happy to be patient. However, unless new contract wins are announced very soon, this probably will test support at 20p. I mention the fact in an attempt to illustrate the current trend and positives / negatives of investing in SEO at the moment. Whatever the short term TA appears to signify, I continue to believe that more good news is forthcoming and this will be but a temporary blip.

I really do not understand why people keep talking about the third trial - it was clear by the RNS earlier that the Asda agreement starts on the first commercial order OR the end of the third trial - WELL - the commercial order came first.

Now yes as some spin and ramp we might get a comment like "now the third trial is complete the rollout can start" - but you cannot start a roll out until you get orders - so fine - go ahead and say the rollout starts - but it will look stupid if you then put in only another 5 or 10 orders ;-) LOL - would look even more stupid if you can still count confirmed orders on one hand.

Utter tosh this rollout IMO - so yes you might get a third trial done and rollout starts - but only in a theoritical dreaming sense not in orders and revenue sense IMO.

insiderinside - 30 Jun 2005 10:51 - 6746 of 27111

IMO they are delaying the earlier suggested "dozen" machine orders for Youngs - so that they can say "Hey - third trial complete - rollout starts - order for 12 already" to give it maximum SPIN and HYPE - thats IMO.

Chiva20 - 30 Jun 2005 10:51 - 6747 of 27111

Careful not to open up a can of ii's pth :o)

Agreed 20p test will probably be met without news but I doubt we'll drop below that support barring something disastrous. If we do each here I think it'll be yawns all round until the next move up. Stanelco is in the spotlight too much at the moment, a real darling stock for 2005. There are plenty of people looking for a good opportunity to jump on board.

Stanelco looks to Asda revenue
Stanelco, the AIM-listed manufacturer of fibre-optic furnaces, will start reaping the benefits of its transformation into bio-degradable food packaging company by October.

Howard White, chief executive, said he expected the company to receive income from its agreement with Asda, the retailer, to provide suppliers with packaging technology by the start of the next financial year.............................................

No problem. All SEO information should be shared!

Would be interested if any subscribers can get the full story?

Yes - its not the full article and secondly it shows how bad their research is when the say "the AIM listed" ;-) LOL - so SEO is now down to the AIM again !!

chiva

Don't have any interest in what that muppet has to say, however I will say how I see it. As a holder of SEO stock at least I have a vested interest and overall remain very bullish. Won't be too long now before we get going. Most shares are never a comfortable ride.

Absolutely pth, never doubted you for a second.

Wouldn't use comfortable ever. Words I associate include; 'euphoria, apathy, addiction, devastation, abject terror', and finally, my favourite, 'smug'.

Wouldn't you agree Seq?

Sequestor - 30 Jun 2005 12:01 - 6755 of 27111

agree what?I have absolutely no interest in character assasination, ego trips etc., I am here only for one reason- to make , and the people who chunter on about liking shares to fall so they can " top up", or " average down", are always the biggest losers.

Chiva20 - 30 Jun 2005 12:06 - 6756 of 27111

Who's character am I assasinating? What ego trip? When did I chunter on about topping up or averaging down?

Honestly why do I bother.

Sequestor - 30 Jun 2005 12:22 - 6757 of 27111

er-chiva dearie there are one or two other people on here as well as you , you know-I didn`t point the finger at you, and as for dissentors, if they give out a good enough story and convince
me, i`ll change direction and short- any share not just this one- but this one is beginning to show bad signs, and ii may just be right, and another 1p off is enough.

oh ps - good luck

bhunt1910 - 30 Jun 2005 12:30 - 6758 of 27111

Hi Seq - nothing wrong with cutting and running if thats your strategy.

For me - I am holding for the longer term - although I must confess to cutting and running @30p and buying back in @25p - because in my view it was obviously overbought.

Not sure who said it - but suspect the MM's will slowly walk this down picking up stock until the next bit of good news so that they can sell at a nice profit.

It might even get as low as 20p - but lets hope not

Sequestor - 30 Jun 2005 12:53 - 6759 of 27111

tend not to give too much credance to the big bad mm scene, if it`s gradually falling its lack of interest from " those who know",-I include the board in this- not a lot of buying there? we`ll see.

proptrade - 30 Jun 2005 13:47 - 6760 of 27111

walking down was a comment i made and is simply a move by MM's to test the water with a lack of orders. they may pick stock up on the way but is just a reasonable way to keep stock moving around.

insiderinside - 30 Jun 2005 14:03 - 6761 of 27111

Firstly the third trial has no bearing on Asda orders if you read the AGM statement 22nd April 2005 - Philip Lovegrove says We announced in March that ASDA Stores Ltd (ASDA) would be the first to adopt GREENSEAL in the UK, anticipating several hundred machines to be adapted to use the technology during the first year at the earlier of the completion of three further trials with ASDA suppliers or the signing of the first commercial order . The first of these trials nears completion at Youngs Bluecrest, a leading ASDA supplier.

If you refer to the later RNS 23rd of May they had their first commercial order with Asda Stanelco announces that following extensive trials it has now entered into a formal commercial agreement for its GREENSEAL(TM) technology with a dedicated ASDA supplier, endorsed by ASDA themselves. This first commercial agreement will involve the conversion of a Mondini tray-lidding machine at the chosen supplier. Stanelco cannot reveal the name of the supplier for commercially sensitive reasons.

Therefore Lovegroves earlier of statement is concluded as the first order came and no need for the trials to be complete from the 23rd of May the 1 year commercial agreement has been in place resulting in so far 2 orders with Hitchens appearing very concerned placing just 1 order and conditionally 3 more with what looks like an escape route to not order.

Secondly remember this - ??

RNS Stanelco PLC 24 March 2005

The 12-month agreement will commence from the first Monday following two weeks of further successful trials with three ASDA suppliers. This is expected to be in April. These commercial trials are in addition to the completed trial announced on 1 March 2005.

Funny calendar they use - or wiping away the frantic oh how good it is is their some untold problem that has caused these long delays and therefore potential problems with supplier orders for a kit that takes two days to fit and allegedly is so good there seems to be something amiss and something thats not being told. Keep smiling and saying its wonderful but completion of trials in July ? if it is July ?

They can say what they want about trials complete when they are finally and Rollout but its orders thats needed not hype words and promise but no large orders.

Less Rollout talk and more talk of "confirmed orders" ! No orders means no real Rollout - you can start a Rollout with no orders - but after a few weeks you look like a bit of a numpty if you have not got at least a couple of hundred orders from this started Rollout.

I think the real truth with small-caps and penny dreadfuls is that punters are just pi55ed off with the manipulation and risk inherent, you can buy a decent FTS100 stock and get a 5% return and a reasonable chance of capital growth,
nobody wants to hold volatility too long, and its going to get even harder.
