Part of long stop taken here but happy with 80 points from yesterday.
9213 still sought? or wait some more?
Happy to keep some long though.

Harlosh - 10 Nov 2006 13:36 - 6750 of 11056

Technically 9213 has been cancelled by that pullback hodgins but the 9240 is still current but think we need some oomph to get it there today.

Seymour Clearly - 10 Nov 2006 13:48 - 6751 of 11056

10 minute chart & indicators starting to look stronger again (See Hils, I did take notice) :-)

edit, well maybe not quite yet.

Boyse - 10 Nov 2006 14:08 - 6752 of 11056

21 Year low on YEN

Melnibone - 10 Nov 2006 15:57 - 6753 of 11056

Are you all looking at 1.9120 as a retest level, that holds, for a continuation
of strength, or a test of the round figure 1.9100?

Just trying to get a handle on what you're looking at, as it's not obvious to me.
Thanks in advance.

Harlosh - 10 Nov 2006 16:14 - 6754 of 11056

Yes I am Mel - it has already bounced of course.

Slightly disappointed with today - I expected more but the lack of news probably didn't help.

9240 is still a target for me but will have to wait till next week now.

Seymour Clearly - 10 Nov 2006 17:18 - 6755 of 11056

Stopped out at 9120 for a very modest benefit, still learning but overall happy with the result. How I wish I'd closed it at 9am this morning though, but I always think it will go further. Will look for another long soon.

Melnibone - 10 Nov 2006 20:36 - 6756 of 11056

Evening, last one of the week (thank the Lord).
Miss M is moving into her new Chelsea flat today, and whilst
waiting for her Interview date, (head honcho's away somewhere atm)
she's being fixed up with some work experience at a rival Investment Bank.
Can't wait for the questions I get from her when they start filling her
head with all sorts of Spin that's designed to part customers from their money. :-(
A few heated discussions coming my way, methinks.

hilary - 11 Nov 2006 09:48 - 6757 of 11056

Oooops.

The Fairy's had an accident with the header this weekend and is hanging his head in shame at the moment.

I've got a copy of the header on a different PC, so all is not lost. Normal service will be resumed by Monday.

:o)

MightyMicro - 11 Nov 2006 11:05 - 6758 of 11056

Thank you Ma'am, bless you Ma'am, I'm ever so sorry Ma'am.

Win $2000 trading Fx

as I'm never going to stand a chance!

hilary - 12 Nov 2006 12:48 - 6760 of 11056

Following his overdose of magic mushrooms on Friday evening, the Forex Fairy has now been released from police custody and the thread header has been restored to its former glory.

PS. I've got a feeling that the first table in the header wasn't full width and was a similar width to the calendar image below it, but I really can't remember for sure. Can somebody enlighten me and I'll alter it if necessary.

Melnibone - 12 Nov 2006 13:26 - 6761 of 11056

The top half is wider than before, Hilary, but there's nothing wrong
with that. The only likely problem, is that traders using smaller screen
Laptops may have to use the scrollbar, but I'm sure they'll shout up
if that's the case. :-)

Harlosh - 12 Nov 2006 16:50 - 6762 of 11056

Looks great on my screen - better than before :-))

MightyMicro - 12 Nov 2006 19:08 - 6763 of 11056

Hil: Well, it's better than my last attempt . . . ;-)

hilary - 13 Nov 2006 08:36 - 6764 of 11056

The Fairy has sent the decorators in this morning to finish the job and add a few more links.

edit: I can easily take that top part of the header back to 100% of the width if the concensus wishes - I just thought that it looked a bit tidier if it were about the same width as the 3 charts which run across the width so that it kept the borders around the charts to a minimum.

Seymour Clearly - 13 Nov 2006 09:01 - 6765 of 11056

Morning, thanks Hils. Not bothered here which way the display is - my laptop, which I use most, has greater resolution than my desktop.

Hmmm. I have a long position from Friday. 10 min chart says down, 1 hr chart says up. Will wait and see.

mg - 13 Nov 2006 09:38 - 6766 of 11056

Hillipops
Same colour as your Boudoir I presume ??

PS Seymour - I have the 1 hour pointing down - and have been short since Friday - so pleased to see the fall after 09:30 news

Harlosh - 13 Nov 2006 09:44 - 6767 of 11056

My 1 hour chart is down too SC.

hilary - 13 Nov 2006 09:45 - 6768 of 11056

Nail varnish and lippie actually, meggers.

I'm ditto meggers regarding the 1-hour chart I'm afraid, Seymour
