optomistic - 29 May 2004 09:42 - 6762 of 23498

Vasey cats can be cute (until they start messing in your garden, squirting on your car, front door etc) Hundreds of s your friends must have been very very etc drunk :-))

Socrates - 29 May 2004 09:46 - 6763 of 23498

How appropriate, just read your last post about Dunstable. Off to Beds! As for the cat, you must post a photo. I just can't wait to see what a cat that looks like a rat with a 'tache looks like.

Optomistic
Just had a call from relative who went through Manston yesterday. Bit of activity spotted, lots of new fencing and huge car park well advanced in construction.

vasey - 29 May 2004 09:46 - 6764 of 23498

oh, very! Apparently it is a short-haired brown cat.....(I know nothing about cats!)....with a pedigree. My friends have just moved into their new flat and spent all spare cash on paint, etc. If they had had 400, they would have spent it on furniture.....but they couldn't pull out of the transaction once they had entered those card details. Oops!

What are your plans for the day?

jeffmack - 29 May 2004 09:46 - 6765 of 23498

early risers are in the cafe I see

vasey - 29 May 2004 09:48 - 6766 of 23498

I originally logged on to see if another horse could win my support, but struggling to see something that is obviously 'my' horse.

vasey - 29 May 2004 09:51 - 6767 of 23498

OK, Gaelic Princess, please, Jeff. 100 e/w.

Socrates - 29 May 2004 09:53 - 6768 of 23498

Good morning Jeffers, are you working today?

I'm off for morning constitutional into Cheltenham soon. Got to buy the obligatory lottery ticket for a triple rollover. If I win the lot I'll arrange a meet in a real cafe for the regulars.

Vasey
Why on earth did they bid up to 400 for a cat? They could have had mine for free, it is a psychopath I grant you, but he has his loveable moments, like when he goes out all night.

optomistic - 29 May 2004 09:54 - 6769 of 23498

Vasey easy day today. Must do the trolley dash unforunately, I suppose it will be packed with the Bank Holiday shoppers, but has to be done :-((

vasey - 29 May 2004 09:56 - 6770 of 23498

Socks, I wish they could remember! They paid more than 400 in truth and it has crept up with all the accessories that a cat needs.....pushing 500 now. The price you pay for getting very, very drunk......

daves dazzlers - 29 May 2004 09:57 - 6771 of 23498

jeffmack ,can i have true night 500 e/w.

Socrates - 29 May 2004 09:58 - 6772 of 23498

Vasey
I make it a rule never to get drunk. I like to remember what I enjoyed.

jeffmack - 29 May 2004 10:00 - 6773 of 23498

daves dazzlers - 29 May 2004 10:09 - 6777 of 23498

dont you think bank holidays get in the way ,,its bound to rain,,and the markets are closed,,,,shame.

Socrates - 29 May 2004 10:19 - 6778 of 23498

Good morning Daves. I'm off out too. See you all later.

little willie - 29 May 2004 11:33 - 6779 of 23498

Jeff the Spiv, are you keeping a bent book?
I think you'll find I wanted a WIN bet on the Thurlestone nag; to do a swinger I'd be out of funds and don't think my rating would stand your scrutiny.

Whats all this about you lot back in Blighty having "another" bank holiday,
no wonder the mother country is foundering; no-one working, everyone getting drunk on numerous crap from bloody Uncle Sam and eating tons of trifle.

Now what shall I do this afternoon?
Its 22 days from mid winters day, we have 25 degrees so perhaps a game of golf, horseracing at Kenilworth Cape Town, a bite at our favourite lunch spot at Franschoek, a visit our stables and make a fuss of Sweet Revenge and/or a trip 6k's up the road to Villiera Wine Farm for a free tasting of their not-inconsiderable wine selection.
Choices....what a wonderful thing to have in life....
A GREAT WEEKEND TO YOU ALL.
