THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Put a short on Eurotunnel first .

cynic - 08 Feb 2016 11:33 - 67624 of 81564

you wish, but you could only be certain if i was buried at a x-roads with a stake through my heart!

Blowing up Euro tunnel is not a bad idea also put holding cells on the ferries to detain and turn around any one from the jungle ,it's only 45 minutes back to Calais .

Good thinking VIC.

VICTIM - 08 Feb 2016 11:37 - 67626 of 81564

I thought we were paying the French to sort all this Calais stuff out , or am I mistaken .

Priti Patel putting Cameron in his place , (she is Pretty by the way)

I don't know why the EU don't set up a system where by they pay these Migrants to stay in their country rather than pay them over here . Cost of keeping some one in Africa cheaper than in Europe by a mile . There could be some scheme set up as regards employment or education , try to get some pride back in their lives , just letting this carry on is irresponsible and damaging , where's the the brains .

Stan - 08 Feb 2016 12:02 - 67629 of 81564

Oh you mean like back to the Empire days.. Oh no we have already tried that.

Haystack - 08 Feb 2016 12:17 - 67630 of 81564

Trump's cousin asked this to be added to his obituary

More "Con" Party/Government corruption alert? http://www.channel4.com/news/conservatives-appear-to-have-overspent-on-three-by-elections

Fred1new - 08 Feb 2016 19:56 - 67634 of 81564

What do you expect from what many think is the most corrupt period of a conservatism in the last 50years?

jimmy b - 08 Feb 2016 20:21 - 67635 of 81564

The great Nigel Farage has started the NO campaign , go Nigel !!

Haystack - 08 Feb 2016 21:57 - 67636 of 81564

Farage is a rabble rouser. He will put plenty of people off. I am tempted to vote out, but Farage could make me vote in. I would hate to think I agreed with him about anything. He is one of the dregs of politics.

jimmy b - 08 Feb 2016 22:01 - 67637 of 81564

Rubbish ,he just tells it as it is whereas all the others are now so politically correct and scared of the left wing loons they won't speak out.

iturama - 08 Feb 2016 22:57 - 67638 of 81564

You could always vote with your friend Corbyn Hays. He wants in with an even more socialist EU.

Haystack - 08 Feb 2016 23:23 - 67639 of 81564

That is part of the problem. There are loons in all directions. I do think that the EU is destined to get worse and more unstable.

MaxK - 08 Feb 2016 23:26 - 67640 of 81564

Yet your best mate, Haystack, wants in even more.

How do you square the bollox and Cameroon?

Haystack - 08 Feb 2016 23:42 - 67641 of 81564

There are plenty of sensible people on both sides of the argument. There is no obvious answer of whether to leave or not.

jimmy b - 09 Feb 2016 07:54 - 67642 of 81564

There are plenty of sensible people on both sides of the argument...........

Like wanting Turkey to join the EU ? a country mainly in Asia and with most of it's border with the middle east..

What's European about Turkey !!!!!
