A summary of where we are now would be, IMV :

Seller is around at 61p to 63p levels, therefore until they are clear the price may oscilate around this level. You can either view this as resistance, or a chance to build up at these levels until the seller is clear. The same "build up" level was offered last few weeks at the 56p to 59p levels.

Upcoming news for LEAD, interims due in August, EPS enhancing acquisition news late June/early July, big Indian contracts at anytime in the coming weeks or months.

Panmure Gordon target price of 89p, this is without the acquisiton or large Indian contracts, so should that news come there is a good chance for upgrades.

90% of the 2007 target 180m US$ of revenue is in the bag already (at the mid Q2 stage) and therefore there will be a very good chance of exceeding those forecasts without any Indian contracts. Margins are said to be retained at previous levels on that 90% bagged work.

All in all going to be a very interesting period for Leadcom now.

How did you guess?

cynic - 15 May 2007 11:11 - 682 of 955

that Tman is a wally or that you sound afflicted with the same disease? ..... confess i would far rather be short of EEL than LEAD, and now i am back in the country, may have a further look at shorting SOLA again

Potentially looking poised for a breakout, however, its been looking like that for some time.

However, the seller appears to be (visually at least) nearing the end of the line of stock. The buyer is getting more aggresive.

News flow is : anytime now contract news from India : end June/early July earnings enhancing acqusition news : August should be interims.

Therefore, if our seller is finally nearing being sold out, there is a very good chance of a solid break upwards from 63p (which is acting as long term resistance).

DYOR.

Some more India work for Nokia Siemens (sounds like the stuff Leadcom do best)

So Nokia/Siemens has now bagged 574m $ worth of work in a couple of weeks in India, and this is without it being the big BSNL or Reliance tenders...... :)

Nokia Siemens bags Rs 300-crore Aircel contract

TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ THURSDAY, MAY 31, 2007 03:41:20 AM]

NEW DELHI: Nokia Siemens Networks on Wednesday announced that it has bagged a Rs 300-crore network expansion contract from Aircel Cellular (a subsidiary of Malaysias Maxis Group) to build and operate a greenfield GSM network in Kolkata. The contract includes supply of GSM/EDGE equipment, implementation, project management and managed services, such as operating and maintaining the network infrastructure, the company said.

The deal comes within days of the network major bagging a $500-million network expansion contract with Idea Cellular.

The two-year deal with Idea envisages that Nokia Siemens set up GSM, general packet radio service (GPRS) and Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) networks, which will help cellular company to expand its coverage across six circles Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (east), Uttar Pradesh (west), Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

Last year, Nokia had bagged a three-year $400 million network expansion contract from Bharti Airtel. Aircels contract with Nokia Siemens follows its recent allocation of 2G spectrum by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to begin services in Kolkata.

Aircel aims to roll out services in Kolkata by the year-end and also plans to make the city its regional headquarters for the eastern region. (Bharti Airtel too has decided to set up its eastern regional telecom hub in Kolkata.)
Commenting on the partnership with Nokia Siemens, Maxis CEO and Aircel director said: Wednesdays announcement is a critical juncture in our network roll-out strategy, as Nokia Siemens Networks have joined the consortium of our prime network partners.

The Kolkata roll-out completes our East/North-East geographic footprint, besides lending us its strategic commercial importance in the region. Nokia Siemens Networks will deploy latest state-ofthe-art equipment like Flexi base stations, mini-ultra base stations, 3GPP-based mobile softswitching solution, including MSC Servers and Media Gateways, the company said in a statement.

The network will be supported by the multi-technology, multi-vendor NetAct network and service management system, and will be ready for commercial operations by December 2007, it added.

Nokia Siemens wins GSM deal in India

June 1st, 2007 8:41 am

Nokia Siemens Networks said it has won its first contract from the operator Maxis Group, operating under brand name of Aircel, to build and operate a GSM network in Kolkata, India.
In a statement, Nokia Siemens said the deal runs for two years and is valued at some 55 million euros ($74 million).
The contract includes supply of GSM/EDGE equipment, implementation, project management and managed services, such as operating and maintaining the network infrastructure.
Nokia Siemens will deploy Flexi base stations, mini-ultra base stations, a 3GPP-based mobile soft-switching solution including MSC Servers and Media Gateways PDH and SDH.

The network will be ready for commercial operations by December 2007.

(PS... This might be why the buyer has been more aggressive since June 1st, as simply this could mean that (as the system is to be on line prior year end) that this Aircel order, if passed on to Leadcom, means that Leadcom are now guarenteed to pass the 180m $ revenue for 2007, without any contribution from the big BSNL order). DYOR !!!

June 6, 2007, Hod Hasharon, Israel - Leadcom Integrated Solutions Ltd.

All new contracts are with regional operators in East and West Africa, and in

Nice to see the "exceeding" word in there.

cynic - 06 Jun 2007 08:16 - 695 of 955

delighted for you (and me) that at long last your ramping (sorry; lol!) of LEAD is at last proving have some substance!

PapalPower - 06 Jun 2007 09:46 - 696 of 955

Lol cynic, its always had substance, just nobody bothered to look at it. As we stand now there is minimal PI holdings, which is good, as that protects any against any corrections.
