The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

i heard that board on t/o thought mdx were worth 2.04.
i think within 6 months that mdx will have a t/o......this aint a ramp as in jan etc i always said it would take about a year from my exp with t/o in other companies. i been hearing that an offer was on table in t/o early in year.....but these 2 new guys must know companies in germany etc where there might be a bid.....i think the shareholders will be given the chance to accept an offer by august

ok tabby
news on fri.....then trading update shortly after......this will drive sp well north of 60p...........i think after that a bid will be coming by end of month.
i think in range of 120 - 150p..........and imagine sp to immediately climb to a few pence short of these prices............this aint a ramp as i aint acted like this early on year......i think theres going to be a few surprises coming up

Scotty.. Im twitching!! The SP should not play around like it has.. and that worries me a littleThe thought of making serious money has always been as scary as loosing it! There will obviously be a lot of spin Friday lets hope it will be easy to read between the lines.

mdx did release some info about products....i think it was 2 months ago or thereabouts....but of course all doom and gloom then so sp kept tanking.
i always said NOTHING HAS HAPPENED THIS YEAR. ok, they got fed up with t/o stuff and turned down an offer.......thats no excuse to wipe off about 70%.......so are we going up again to 80p plus.
rt is going to talk to potential suitors again and take this to conclusion.......and i imagine there will be 1 or 2 offers which wil this time be given to shareholders.......this will happen i think by end of month afer trading update and op review.....but it might happen in august.
anyway expecting my sp trading range to be hit this year sometime........pints all round if it turns out right.
also, mm's just tried to put sp down to trigger stop losses as they r running out of stock i think.....but sp came back minutes later.
49p i guess by end of day.......75p in 2 weeks time

i reckon they will get it to 70 or 75p in 2 weeks time, then have a bid in for 120-150p

i think that we will get an offer put to the shareholders and i think that this will happen within a month, whether it will be accepted or defended i do not know but one thing for sure is the SP will be instantly re-rated to just below the offer price.
heres what bm stated last week.

Am i right in thinking that todays announcement well to me anyway is the clearest signal we have had yet that we are now going to be sold ?
The way i pick things up now is that we will have a series of announcements to bring the SP up to a reasonable level where we will then have the first bid put to the shareholders
The reason why i think this is that anyone who knows you, the way that you think and the way that you operate will also know that you are always three steps ahead of the rest of the field eg "Don't ask a question that you don't already know the answer to" etc.
Also I refer to your post 82875 (below) which IYO No.1
"Have the BOD resume talks with potential offer ors and take them to conclusion. If this process produces an offer at any price, then put it to the shareholders and either recommend it or defend it."
Regarding that quote i seriously think that you have already done your homework on this and you already know that there is still at least one offer still viable and still on the table so bring it on.
You also point out in post 82953 (below) that Melbrosin boys cannot deal in their shares during close periods but i think that it goes a bit further than that as any directors selling shares is frowned upon IE RTs sale which is still not forgotten or forgiven. If you go back to the reasons why Melbrosin boys sold their company to us in the first place i think the main one was to free up some capital but with them now joining the MDX board it will now make it awkward for them to free up any of their capital unless the company is sold and for a fair price which is another strong pointer that the company will now be sold
Lastly i would like to thank you for all and time and the hard work you have been doing behind the scenes on behalf of us shareholders it is all much appreciated

An interesting and perhaps not obvious plus point to today's announcement is the fact that whilst serving as executive directors the Melbrosin boys cannot deal in their shares during close periods. I know the recent tranche is locked-in for 12 months, but the first tranche is getting close to being freed-up, so perhaps the market was thinking these shares would be dumped at any price. No so now, I think.
"Opinion (mine):
Gary can speak for himself, but having spent a lot of time with him I believe his preferences are as follow:
1. Have the BOD resume talks with potential offerors and take them to conclusion. If this process produces an offer at any price, then put it to the shareholders and either recommend it or defend it. This would at the very least provide us with a lot of information and enable us to decided whether to stay for the long-run, or move on."

Youknow, what I like to invest in is business that want to make a difference; they want to be the best ( maybe No2,?), in their industry. They may have some innovation abilities and long-term plans involving drugs and processes, etc.
This can be be represented by just two words: Focus - First.
What I don't like is a businiess that tells us they are fantastic and worth so much everyone will be smiling, yet whose Directors have practically no shareholding, nor do they appear to be moving the underlying business forward - the only movement being their bonuses which strangely appear to be earned even though the sp has bombed. I prefer the boses to be spending their time on making the business pay dividends to shareholders.
So, I wonder if I was a recent arrival from Mars, would [MDX] fit into the first group, or the second?
Let's not forget [MDX] sp was over 1 and still we were being told it was Undervalued....huh!
You see, I suspect Execs always pay too much for their acquityions - and then try to bang them to form One. So you have to ask yourself, who would want to pay too much to by this Collection of tank-tops, jeans and shoes which appear to have no co-ordination.... (if it was a fashion shop it wouldn't be in the high street with this lot...I wonder where iot might be?).
Ah yess more of those pills, nurse..Ah that's - Zzzz.

quite a spiel hangon.
mdx was only over a quid at very start in 1st year.....so not sure where u get your details.
i think RT would be blocked from buying shares this year as he would have price sensitive info......and t/o has taken mdx attention away from business duties as its had to deal with many companies.
anyway new melbo boys have about 10% of shares and they know the business inside out.
anyway, tjhings look to be looking up at last with new guys on board

Scotty.. Paragraph 2/3 of that posting on the 3rd.and before the announcement of changes to the Board of Directors.
2. Reorganise/strengthen the BOD so that (a) we have confidence that preference 1 is being undertaken in our best interests, and (b) in the event that we receive and reject an offer the BOD is equipped and capable of doing the job going forward.
3. In the event that no acceptable offer arrives, and the BOD prove to be incapable of delivering going forward, then take it private, restructure it and trade sale or float it in 3/5 years. Such a route would not preclude current shareholders staying in for the upside (I stress, my opinion only).
Read into that what you may?
We are all pleased the SP is moving the right way but I dont trust that slippery ba**ard.
Hangondont piS* on our bonfire take off your tank-tops, jeans and shoes.and give it till Nov. 5thwe will see! Anyway your heading a Members Committee for expenses to make sure we all get a decent French Wine.. Come up with anything?

i think trading update figs to be announced will be the main reason for surge.
dont u think the market might have priced in decent news on products already.....as u say, sp up a fair bit since last week.
having said that, sp was murdered for 2.5 months for no reason apart from selling
