THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Reading what the rest of the EU countries have said in the above article it just shows that the EU is a total mish mash , everyone talking their own book.

And as for Obama being wheeled out to try and talk us from leaving ,maybe he should open his border with Mexico , also how about Guatemala ,Honduras , El Salvador they could join the United States of America ,why not welcome these people in .

iturama - 17 Feb 2016 10:55 - 67854 of 81564

Obama is not and never has been a friend of the UK. Even had the bust of Churchill removed from the Oval Office and sent to the British Ambassador's residence. Some say because of WSC's pithy observation of muslims.
"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is the fearful fatalistic apathy... A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those that follow it. No stronger retrograde step exists in the world. Far from being moribund Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout central africa raising fearless warriors at every step and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong ams of science, the science of which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome"
I wonder what the great man would say if he could address the nation today.

A biography of Cornyn has been published called 'Comrade Corbyn'. There is an anecdote about him. Corbyn showed off Diane Abbott while she was naked in his bed to impress his Left-wing activist friends.
