Air Music and Media (AMU)

ptholden - 24 Aug 2004 21:52

AMU quite rightly appears to be developing a small following, hence I have updated the header with a 'carrot' and the charts.

UK smallcap opening - Air Music & Media gains on Investors Chronicle tip
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Buyers came for Air Music & Media, 1.13 ahead at 7.75 pence, after the Investors Chronicle advised readers to 'buy'.

With trading looking strong at the music distributor, and a share price target of 13 pence from broker Seymour Pierce, the shares look oversold, the IC concluded.

Maiden Dividend Announcement
Rising profits before tax in line with forecasts
Rising EPS in line with forecasts.
Bullish outlook for profits and EPS for next year.

Seymour Pierce to remain as AMU Broker but also
another Broker to start covering AMU as well.

The 100k 'buy' at 7.94p was mine.

Confused it will all make sense next week.

It all looks pretty good... excellent results as expected and a maiden div. also... )

SP preparing for take-off... this should rocket and go skyhigh during the coming weeks/months...Will stay in for the ride and top up at these levels if I can free up more funds :)

1704 - 14 Jul 2005 14:14 - 78 of 276

Bang on the button with my forecasts of what would
be in todays results (post 68 dated 1st July 05).

The next 4 weeks should be interesting hoping to
see some tick-up with regards to the sp.

skyhigh - 14 Jul 2005 14:54 - 79 of 276

well, well, surprise surprise,,, look what's happended to the SP !
Reckon someone is preparing for the SP to be low anough for the directors to pick up cheap shares ?
Can't be any other reason for the crap sp reaction to the excellent results ?

goal - 14 Jul 2005 15:10 - 80 of 276

Something very fishy...

mjr1234 - 14 Jul 2005 15:32 - 81 of 276

Looking to take advantage and buy in!

1704 - 14 Jul 2005 18:09 - 82 of 276

Skyhigh- If your suspicions are correct (which I
would be surprised if they were) shame on the
Directors. I recently met one of the Directors
and they already own half of the company.
If you have a look on the AMU website under
the Investor Section it shows a list of the Major
Shareholders and the Directors hold their shares
in various nominee accounts. For example, the
CEO holds over 20% alone.

I still think the sp will nudge upwards over the
next month and hopefully sustain its gains.
I think today saw the MMs playing there silly
games again.

1704 - 14 Jul 2005 18:16 - 83 of 276

Contradictory views given on the results today.

The Daily Round Up (Hemscott Analyst Service)
highlights upbeat comments from Seymour Pierce
describing the results as excellent adding that
the group's maiden dividend is a bonus.

However, there is less positive article about the
results on the ShareCast Website which you can
read on http://www.digitallook.com.

I tend to agree with the opinions of Seymour Pierce
and remain 'bullish'.

skyhigh - 22 Jul 2005 09:12 - 84 of 276

Well, what a pile of sh*te this one's turned out to be..just keeps on going down.... after all the hype before the results and even after the results this one should have doubled ! Like everyone else will just have to sit tight and hope that the SP recovers and eventually increases to where it should be :)

skyhigh - 22 Jul 2005 16:07 - 85 of 276

Can't believe how cr*p this share is turning out to be... someone is ahving a laugh at our expense !

Skyhigh, this will come good, this company makes money...cream always rises to the top.
