NETeller - CASHING IN (NLR)

HUSTLER - 17 Nov 2004 20:02

NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.

Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

... and I just bought back the shares you called me bonkers for selling last Monday at 760p.

Paulo2 - 16 Mar 2005 09:16 - 681 of 1341

It must be near the bottom now!! I am going back in anyway. Wish me luck!!

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 09:40 - 682 of 1341

If it carries on falling like this it'll hit my stop loss this afternoon and I'll be out.

What price are the mm's pulling it back to for "the big buyer" gf ... 200p ?

simonpaynton - 16 Mar 2005 09:56 - 683 of 1341

This will start panicing people out at this rate, its hard to stay in when you see money flushing down the pan quicker than you can see....

Is there some news that we aint aware of yet..

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 10:05 - 684 of 1341

Not in my opinion , its just a run of the mill correction. A fall of around 15% after a rise of over 120% in the last 3 months is hardly a disaster.

Good luck , no more from me til results.

simonpaynton - 16 Mar 2005 10:11 - 685 of 1341

I agree, and thats why I am hanging in there, but such a sharp drop will surely start to panic the weaker holders, I am glad to see a improvment of few % over the 5.39% we had a few moments ago.

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 10:26 - 686 of 1341

Supply and Demand Dil LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL, when ever have the MMs worked to the Economic rules of supply and demand especially with this one. Lets face it Dil your very rough around the edges. You still havent told the board how they are going to meet US demand after the 4th of April.
As for addressing your points, what points? all we got from you was a child like outburst yesterday afternoon, you dont like to be proved wrong do you Dil where as I cant admit if I have got it wrong, no problem.

So far there is nothing to suggest I have got it wrong.

cheers GF.

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 10:39 - 687 of 1341

The point that over 4 days the buys and sells were the same.

The point that whenever there is a drop you suggest it is due to big buyers in the wings but rises are not due to big sellers in the wings.

That mm's could manipulate a liquid stock like this by 15% in the opposite direction of the demand.

In answer to your question ... why the f*ck would the mm's try and get stock for a "rumored" future buyer ... they wouldn't.

Cut the crap GF , your turning this into another BPRG like thread where you make up the story to fit.

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 10:45 - 688 of 1341

Sorry Dil but you have lost the plot. You really do need to sort that temper out. Its obvious from what you have just posted that you are rather lacking in experience. So as not to disrupt the thread I will now Squelch you for a period of 48 hours so that you can go away and calm down.

DIL Squelched.

cheers GF.

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 10:48 - 689 of 1341

Nice to see buyers moving back in and the price rising.

cheers GF.

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 10:54 - 690 of 1341

GF once again avoids the question , duck and dive as much as you like but the smell of bull won't go away.

PS You won't squelch me as your too bloody nosey .

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 10:57 - 691 of 1341

Price going down again on my screen , must be that big buyer again.... NOT.

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 11:00 - 692 of 1341

Good luck to all the genuine holders , still have a target of 1100p but beware of bull and stick to stop losses.

I'm outa here unless provoked.

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 11:04 - 693 of 1341

Dil must be rattled, three posts on the trot glad I cant see them, smirk.

" ho if your Irish come into the parlour if your Irish"

cheers GF.

proptrade - 16 Mar 2005 11:05 - 694 of 1341

wow, nice bit of banter going on here...

for the record guys MM's do unto themselves. There is not hard and fast rule apart from making money but sometimes losing it to facilitate a client (to pay back elsewhere). so supply and demand with a twist.

GF is right on this one...i was a MM in the early 1990s and a proprietary trader until 2 years ago and have to say that there were tricks of the trade. the key always was who "owned" the stock in the smaller companies. if you were the MM with 70% of the flows you called the shots and everyone followed your lead. in my mind in NLR the MM's were short and aggressively called them down to give the illusion of size sellers on the pad to flush out some stop loses and spook a few guys who thought these would go on forever.

this is a healthy correction. it is hardly like tons of stock is coming at them and i think shorts will be covered here and they will be walked higher over the next few weeks.

just hang tight imho and i may even join the buyers at around this level.

i am surprised no one has mentioned the 888.com IPO that was announced today in the FT. That is real news for the sector and the associated industries such as NLR will gain a maassive boost...its all about Levi's and the gold rush!

hope this helps

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 11:09 - 695 of 1341

Hi PT, the 888.com IPO was it just news of a future float or is it under way now?. I might be interested in some of this action.

cheers GF.

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 11:12 - 696 of 1341

Well said , I agree but GF reckons that the buys have outnumbered sells on way down so it contradicts what you say and according to him the MM's would now be even shorter.

So on what point do you agree ?

proptrade - 16 Mar 2005 11:25 - 697 of 1341

the only point is that all is not always what it seems. buys and sells on the screen rarely add up because the Time and Sales that we see is often incorrect. it the price is 665-672 and i am a large buyer and go on the MM who i know have sellers around i can pick up stock at 667 and it will show as a sell. this is all at the relationship level because if you were to punt with your local broker outdide the NMS you may deal in the same trade at 675!

anyway, MM's can be very confusing but when there is no scheduled info coming out in a stock they can play silly buggers to spook investors..ie perceived upside momentum "they will never be the price again" or "the story is over, sell".

for the record i think NLR is one of those stocks that looks expensive now but in two years with the growth of the sector they will look damn cheap. my tactic is to buy some next week and add if they fall and add on the way up. it has a first mover advantage and its growth is well documented and easily quantifiable. major risk will be if VISA does a U-Turn or PayPal take up tha batton.

Anyway, what a spiel as just a spectator!

about 888.com it is front page of the FT companies section. Cassava Enterprises is selling and hass appointed CSFB. timeline not clear yet.
no link but will keep the board posted as and when

Dil - 16 Mar 2005 11:28 - 698 of 1341

Yes thats what I said yesterday re buys and sells reported not always being recorded correctly by ADVFN / moneyam but GF was having none of it.

Thanks for reply PT , good luck.

goldfinger - 16 Mar 2005 11:48 - 699 of 1341

Hi PT thanks for that info on 888.com please do keep the thread up to date on how that one goes.

As for Paypal as competition they have already been competition going back over 18 months but were outlawed and indeed penalised by the US authorities. Elliot Spitzer the big wig from New York was hell bent on geting at the online gambling industry and the credit providers for the industry. Some credit cards will not allow online wagering theres some kind of code which is identifiable on each credit card transaction so I think it would be very unlikely that Visa try and muscle in on the act.

cheers GF.
