THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

The present tories have been fragmenting the UK society for the last 5years.

cynic - 23 Feb 2016 08:59 - 68121 of 81564

freedom of movement has been a cornerstone of the eu since it was the eec, but of course they now have a tiger by the tail as ever more bankrupt countries are allowed to join

however, it is almost certainly true that if the uk wants to be treated as a preferential partner from outside eu, then we shall not be able to close the borders and cherry-pick ....... certainly norway has found this out, and i think others too

MaxK - 23 Feb 2016 09:04 - 68122 of 81564

How many countries outside €uropa go along (for example) with the working time directive?

VICTIM - 23 Feb 2016 09:05 - 68123 of 81564

It seems to me also ( maybe wrongly ) that if the members of previous entry into the UK start feeling threatened by this invasion , they will tend to want out of EU. Just a guess .

jimmy b - 23 Feb 2016 09:08 - 68124 of 81564

I agree VIC , and if we leave it may be the start of the end of the EU.

Fred1new - 23 Feb 2016 09:10 - 68125 of 81564

What a leader?

VICTIM - 23 Feb 2016 09:12 - 68126 of 81564

One thing I fear jimmy is that nearing the date of voting , Merkel will come up with some bluff/con to try to change peoples view on EU . Nasty woman .

As one of the major net contributors I reckon it's more than likely jb. As cynic points out the countries joining over recent times are hardly awash with spondulux.

Dave forgot his own tactic.

But is learning about splitting off the neocons.

iturama - 23 Feb 2016 09:19 - 68129 of 81564

Poor old Hitler. Apart from having only one ball, he had a "micro penis". Don't know who checked it out but there you are. Even so I dont suppose he would feel embarrassed sharing a urinal with some of our finest leaders.

jimmy b - 23 Feb 2016 09:24 - 68130 of 81564

VIC who in the UK would listen to Merkel a mad woman who just opened the gates to Europe last summer.
If we leave and are doing ok some time down the road i really believe it will start the break up .

jimmy b - 23 Feb 2016 09:26 - 68131 of 81564

aldwicck , that's all Fred will do ,post stupid cartoon .

VICTIM - 23 Feb 2016 09:26 - 68132 of 81564

Anyway Fred I would like to know where these Immigrants get jobs , who is taking these people on , can you name them , or is it just a myth they are in employment and suits your argument . Again , who is employing these people that are making us wealthy .

brokers have orders to fill and trying to get sellers to fill orders ignore the sell button for 8 weeks then look

cna a buy buy buy

cynic - 23 Feb 2016 09:37 - 68135 of 81564

V - go into any sandwich chain, hotel, lower end retail etc etc and you will find the grassroot staff are predominantly from eastern europe

of course, there may well be an argument that uk youngsters won't take these jobs, though i'm not entirely convinced of that

TANKER - 23 Feb 2016 09:46 - 68136 of 81564

victim mostly on rich mps families farms on min wage . living 6 or 7 to a home
pay around £300 in income tax per year but claim over £ 600 a month in housing benefits
and then the family allowance then the services . this is from my mp
and this is for just over 715 000 what the others get is not at hand
and then their are the ones cleaning cars who I doubt pay any tax or stamp
who will never say our much they earn and would always be under the tax allowance
but these workers are great news for the rich farmers who can seat back and enjoy their lives and yes I no quite a few of them went to school with two of them

you can not blame them its the system that stinks and corrupt

TANKER - 23 Feb 2016 09:51 - 68137 of 81564

has I have said you can not blame the migrants its our mps that are to blame
we need mps who want a better uk not only interested in their own ends .
hide to find anyone these days
I do believe that FARAGE AS THE UK AT IS HEART

VICTIM - 23 Feb 2016 09:52 - 68138 of 81564
