I've edited the calendar myself this week. You just can't trust the staff nowadays.

:o)

MightyMicro - 17 Nov 2006 19:21 - 6822 of 11056

Ahem: the "staff" have made a backup of the HTML this time . . .

The staff will also sort out the FX Boss's ski boots as per her email . . . :)

hilary - 18 Nov 2006 13:01 - 6823 of 11056

What a nice man.

:o)

PS. An example of Atlantis Flight. Don't you agree that they're smart?

MightyMicro - 19 Nov 2006 19:01 - 6824 of 11056

And more can only be obtained by Virgin Atlantic flight? ;-)

The yen has struck a record low against the euro on widening
yield differentials between Japan and Europe.
While the Bank of Japan's governor Toshihiko Fukui appeared to diminish the
inflation threat facing his country, the European Central Bank's president
Jean-Claude Trichet warned that there is "no room for complacency" about
inflation, despite recent falls in the price of crude oil.
And he said the global economy appears set to maintain the "very, very
dynamic growth" of recent years, although the rate of expansion in 2007 would be
slightly slower than this year.

Evening. Miss M's not got an internet connection, atm, so just chatting
on the phone.
Not much time to put a lot of stuff together, atm. So here's a quick heads up
on Gold, which can give you a lead on where the $ may head.

Gold needs to break the down channel and then turn $640 into support,
imho, to get a new leg up.
I've put the downside stuff, that I'm watching, on the chart, for if it retraces.

Question:

Anyone who is bias neutral or short ..at what level for Cable would you start to feel bullish...?

Seymour Clearly - 21 Nov 2006 09:20 - 6828 of 11056

Hi Foale, was long the last couple of days and did well, 100+ pts, but I feel there is uncertainty now - obviously everyone's the same, so am sitting on the sidelines until we get some direction. Has the US gone to sleep this week for Thanksgiving?

I just think we need a break above 1.9000 or drop below 1.8830 to go long or short.

foale - 21 Nov 2006 09:45 - 6829 of 11056

Its certainly dull atm.

I have a small long running

hilary - 21 Nov 2006 10:57 - 6830 of 11056

There looks to be someone knocking them out every time it tips 90. I've got a feeling that there'll be Toasted Bear on the menu for lunch.

hilary - 21 Nov 2006 12:45 - 6833 of 11056

All change. Ding dong.

Seymour Clearly - 21 Nov 2006 14:23 - 6834 of 11056

Hmm, not sure where we're headed - I'm short now fwiw.

edit 3.50pm, just in the office to check my position. Yawn.

bakko - 21 Nov 2006 16:19 - 6835 of 11056

SC, There's not much news out there that'll kick it up the backside one way or another.

ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

Seymour Clearly - 21 Nov 2006 16:52 - 6836 of 11056

Might try and close this one flat as I'm away all day tomorrow.
