THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Stan - I can't believe we're having this conversation. Are you really that thick? Even if any of the RSPCA guys were awake and ten minutes away, how long would it take with a dog running amok on an unlit road, causing cars and lorries to swerve out of the way before there were tears? Very sad, but better a dead doggy than one or several fatal accidents don't you think?

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 07:01 - 68290 of 81564

If anyone's thick around here it certainly isn't me CC, maybe look closer to home and open your eyes while your at it.

I'm afraid certain police forces over the years have been seen to be a law unto themselves and nothing more then a bunch of Crony ridden crooks covering up for some of their mates own lazy, incompetence and corrupt conduct.

Only yesterday we had the despicable case of what has been going on in Rochdale (along with some other services) with the child abuse scandal, and i'm sure I don't need to you about the Polices roll in the Hillsborough Disaster as that is still being covered up all these years later.

Chris , Stan like Fred and Corbyn hates Britain and everything it stands for.

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 07:51 - 68292 of 81564

..And that comes from someone who has said he was thinking of running away back to gun nutter land.. what a peasant.

The man was hit by a car at Stockley Road roundabout Google Streetview

A man has died after being hit by a car as he ran into the road to catch his dog, police said.

The 35-year-old was struck by a silver Peugeot 307 at 10.40pm on Friday February 19.

He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene on Stockley Road roundabout in West Drayon, west London.

A post-mortem examination has yet to be completed and the man's next of kin has been informed, although he is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the Peugeot has not been arrested and is helping the Metropolitan Police, which has appealed for witnesses.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Pidgeon, leading the investigation, said: "We understand the deceased was trying to catch his dog, described as a German Shepherd or Alsatian, in the moments prior to the collision. As a result of this the deceased ended up in the road where he was struck by the car.

And your point is PM?

VICTIM - 25 Feb 2016 07:59 - 68295 of 81564

It's a bit like when dog owners try to rescue their dog when they see it as they think struggling to survive in a river or in the sea , the owners drown but the dog always survives .

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 08:03 - 68296 of 81564

Yes animal owner responsibilities in public areas is another matter V.

jimmy b - 25 Feb 2016 08:08 - 68297 of 81564

Stan i would run back to nutter gun land as you put it if we vote to stay in the EU .
I actually love Britain and hate seeing it destroyed ,unlike you Fred and Corbyn who hate the British and everything we stand for .

VICTIM - 25 Feb 2016 08:10 - 68298 of 81564

Just trying to say that dogs are fantastic friends , but not worth losing your a life for .

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 08:13 - 68299 of 81564

I thought half term for the kids was last week..You do talk some tripe on hear JB at times illustrated by your last two posts.

VICTIM - 25 Feb 2016 08:24 - 68300 of 81564

Stan do you think you are in the right place for you , it seems you don't see eye to eye with anyone for long here .

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 08:27 - 68301 of 81564

Not the case at all V so please get your facts right.

prodman - 25 Feb 2016 08:28 - 68302 of 81564

Better an animal killed than a person, which could have happened to one of the police officers attending.

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 08:29 - 68303 of 81564

Could is not the same as would.

prodman - 25 Feb 2016 08:31 - 68304 of 81564

Best to be safe than sorrow.

VICTIM - 25 Feb 2016 08:31 - 68305 of 81564

Didn't state any facts actually , I said seems , on that reply I can see why , never mind .

Fred1new - 25 Feb 2016 08:38 - 68306 of 81564

Stab,

Trump would probably label JB as a Mexican immigrant and put a bullet through him.

Perhaps, I would vote for Trump.

Stan - 25 Feb 2016 08:42 - 68307 of 81564

Better to do your job properly then not first I would have thought being the prerequisite PD.

Your choice V, I rest my case.

Talking of cases I will leave it there for now, back later.

VICTIM - 25 Feb 2016 08:44 - 68308 of 81564
