FTSE + FTSE 250 - consider trading (FTSE)

cynic - 20 Oct 2007 12:12

rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

Bernard buy a pair of reading glasses with your winnings and read post 6805 again. It was a question not a forecast

German turmoil over EU bail-outs as top judge calls for referendum

Dont get to excited.

Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, 21:04, Monday 26 September 2011

Germany's top judge has issued a blunt warning that no further fiscal powers may be surrendered to Europe (Chicago Options: ^REURTRUSD - news) without a new constitution and a popular referendum, vastly complicating plans to boost the EU's rescue machinery to 2 trillion (1.7 trillion).
