At least we won fair and square.
And we are the club who were odds on to finish bottom and favourites to sack our manager first so we are well over achieving. Didn't you finish seventh last season ?
Your following in the foot steps of Swansea.

What do you mean, won fair and square? Burnley beat them all ends up and by 2 clear goals away from home...you consistent Muppet -):
Did we finish 7th last season?...yes thanks for reminding me impressive eh?
We don't follow old bean, we lead -):
I caught a bit of you game on MoD last night while waiting for our top of the show game, and it looks like your lot have been watching Burnley's defending...as I say we lead and don't follow -):

Speak for yourself Joe.
Best game over the weekend was at Twickenham. France forgot that big means slow. Real man’s sport.

Dil,
The Sala payment - surely that'll be covered by insurance?

The transfer fee to Nantes is apparently but agent fees , compensation to Sala's family etc isn't and comes to about another 15 million.

Hmmm. I never considered the agent's fees - fair point.
As for compensation to Sala's family, surely that would rest with the flight operator?

Possibly but the plane is registered in the USA to trustees and the owners so far have not been identified.
Also , not sure if it covers this but isn't there some limit under the Warsaw agreement on pay outs ?

You can be certain that the lawyers on all sides are pouring through all the documentation, conversations and precedent to get the best for their clients. Little wonder that no money will change hands in the short term. Doubt much will happen until the coroners verdict.

Fantastic goalkeeper.....if you had to name the top best ten keepers ever : Gordon Banks is one of them.....the save from Pele in the 1970 game against Brazil is probably the greatest save of all time.....apparently people behind his goal screamed goal !...and Pele shook his hand....England had a superb side that year....

Yeah...he was alright I suppose, but clearly not in the same league as Tom Heaton of Burnley ... Isn't that right C Dil? 😁

On a show today; asking Banks how often he had to talk about saving Pele's header, a caller said he received the reply - To be honest, I'll be glad when the ball goes in.
Cheers,

The Carduffers have just turned down a massive £400 Million deal with a leading dog food manufacturer .....
A spokesman from the EFL said having “Winalot” across the players shirts would be taking the ****!
