seems to me that if turkey can get into the eu with its truly awful human rights record - you really think turkey will pay any attention to ECHR? - then why should uk obey its rulings if our own judges reckon they're crap?

what the boe are saying is if the agreement with the eu is legally binding we can run the boe with freedom but if it is not then we do not know what will happen

for clarity we do not no if the agreement will stand in the future on what the pm says
is legal binding , we can not say it is legal binding in the coming years

sir john cunliffe has said he does not no if it is legal binding agreement or that the eu will honour the agreement .
