THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Boris Johnson soars into double digit lead as favourite to be next Conservative leader

George Osborne's support slides, Sajid Javid's backing drops by more than half and Theresa May is waning in the ConservativeHome poll

By Michael Wilkinson, Political Correspondent

Boris Johnson has leapt into a double digit lead in polling of Conservative supporters about who they want to be their next party leader.

The Mayor of London now enjoys 33 per cent of support in the ConservativeHome poll, up 14 points in the last month.

Michael Gove, the Justice Secretary, has increased his support by 12 points to 20 per cent putting him in second place.

Meanwhile, Dr Liam Fox is in third place on 18 per cent, down three points.

It is telling that the three Eurosceptics take the top three positions in the polling as the EU referendum debate gets underway.

2517GEORGE - 09 Mar 2016 10:09 - 68703 of 81564

T----- he seems to be a bit of a loose canon, and BJ too much of a clown.
2517

cynic - 09 Mar 2016 10:32 - 68705 of 81564

the difference is that BJ has a good and clever brain, the clownish facade being exactly that, whereas DT is merely a bigoted redneck, with a questionably good brain for business but bugger all else

jimmy b - 09 Mar 2016 10:47 - 68706 of 81564

Nick Clegg can not remember her saying anything about the EU , of course you can't Nick.

I doubt the Queen can recognise the Britain she grew up in ,first that nasty little fat man and revolting ugly cow want Scotland out of Britain and now the UK wants to become Eurabia twinned with the Eastern block ..

Fred1new - 09 Mar 2016 11:32 - 68707 of 81564

A government of economic incompetents?

(Bailed out by France and China.)

TANKER - 09 Mar 2016 13:28 - 68713 of 81564

CYNIC when you vote for a gov and they then turn out to be liars which Cameron is
in my view to go out of my way to vote for liars is not in my name

the public are now saying in their thousands who is telling the truth
who do we believe our can we trust any of them
without the true facts the voters are voting on if and buts not on real facts

cynic - 09 Mar 2016 13:35 - 68715 of 81564

i've already told you what is wrong with DT so won't bother to repeat

going back to the referendum.....
by abdicating your responsibility in refusing to vote, you have no right to complain if you don't get the result that you want

and i shall repeat .....
at the moment, my inclination is to vote "out", but i'ld be surprised if "stay" did not carry the day
