I am a sucker for the little black dress, especially when suitably accessorized, Chanel handbag and all, however, it is only ever a compliment to, not a creator of, beauty. The key, clearly, is that it is beyond fashion, which is only, of course, the last resort of those without style.

I couldn't fit nearly enough into one of those little jobbies..

I have to believe that you mean the handbag and not the dress, and on that note I must return to the spirit world from whence I came, where others seek my council, but I leave inspired by the warmth of my welcome in this place, I hope soon to experience it anew.

Welcome, nice to see a good old fashioned eccentric enter the cafe society, pull up a bucket of sherry trifle and enjoy yourself. Just be careful you don't sit on those runes of yours. Last chap I knew who did that talked with a very high voice for a fortnight.
