Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Europe loves him, or at least did. Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize after being in office only 11 days. Awarded for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people". And we wonder why with socialist dreamers spouting that nonsense why Europe is going to the dogs. A case of deluded optimism overiding basic common sense.
Repeated by Merkel to the detriment of all of Europe. So much for general consensus. It only applies when she allows it.

MERKEL IN TROUBLE , HAD TO HAPPEN.
Germany elections: Disaster for Angela Merkel as exit polls suggest defeat in two out of three regional elections
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ruling conservatives have suffered humiliating losses to the anti-immigrant Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party in three key state elections seen as a referendum on her “open door” refugee policy which allowed more than a million migrants to enter the country last year.
The real shock of Sunday night's polling was the scale of AfD’s gains, which easily entered all three legislatures.
The three-year-old party (AfD) - which has campaigned against Mrs Merkel's open-borders approach - won 15.1% of the vote in Baden-Wuerttemberg, official results showed.
It scored about 12.5% in Rhineland-Palatinate and 24% in Saxony-Anhalt, where it finished second, according to projections by ARD and ZDF television with most districts counted.
At AfD headquarters in Berlin where the results were being monitored last night the atmosphere was described as “ ecstatic”. A jubilant Frauke Petry, the party leader declared on television: “We are now a party for the whole of Germany.” Alexander Gauland, another leading AfD figure said: “Ms Merkel’s refugee policy has lost her party votes – we, by contrast, have made it clear from the start that we don’t want to take them in.”

The AfD is similar to UKIP here and at least as racist.

I know some are celebrating the success of AFD, but I wonder what their salute will be.
Good to see followers in this country and seeming celebration on this thread. Reminds me of Mosley's crew and convictions.

Why is a party racist because it is right wing? The left has convinced the woolie minded that being nationalistic is being racist. Next it will be racist to join the army and fight for your country, or be a police officer.
See the black lives matter twits in the US. Most crime is black on black but if you shout it loud enough there will always be the gullible believing that the killers are not black thugs at all.

this is one of the few occasions on which i agree with fred
when times are good, nationalist parties have little traction or popular support
thus, in recent years and for example, there were brief flickerings that died in austria, and even fn popularity in france was very much restricted to certain locales - eg marseille
however, "open door" policies in europe and even uk have proved to be misguided at best
i hope that reaping the whirlwind will prove to be too melodramatic

The major cause of black crime in the US is the conditions that black people live in. That situation is perpetuated by racism in the US. It is more difficult for black people to get decent education, jobs, health care, housing, bank accounts and all of the benefits of modern society. A similar situation exists in the UK.

Are the conditions. Are. Pay attention.
Nothing to do with fickle fathers then. Even OBummer had to be raised by his white mother and grandparents after he was abandoned by his father. Too many black children are being raised in one parent families. That is the real issue. Don't confuse resentment with racism. Suffer a home invasion and then come back and give me your thoughts.
You sound like Brown Hays. Was that old lady a bigot and a racist or just fed up with politicians that don't have to live with the consequences of their actions?

It is racism that generates the conditions that give rise to the problems. That is where it begins. The stuff that Tanker spouts is pure racism.

So Tanker is to blame... where is that JC photo Stan?
The US is a nation of immigrants. Waves of immigrants have landed and pulled themselves up by their bootstraps despite, in many cases, not speaking the language or having family for support. They made it. If blacks haven't, and many have, it has nothing to with racism. That is the lazy way to define the problem.

Check the legal standing rights of the "blacks" over the last 100years in many of the states in the USA.
Shaking off deprivations of ancestry and utilising advantageous social changes takes generations.
Of course, there are many who have the "confidence" to make the most use of those changes.

In the US it is very much racism. It is not reasonable to equate immigration with the situation of black people in the US. The entry of black people into the US was hardly what could be termed immigration in search of a better life.
