So, what's the bottom line? Does Stanelco have a registered patent on the Greenseal stuff or not? If so please supply the patent number.

It takes a long time to get Patents, and Stanelco applied for Greenseal Patents last July.

The patents applied for, have no connection to the bprg disputed patents in any way.

New Patent Application

Stanelco Plc has filed applications for a new family of patents in respect of a
new packaging system that could revolutionise the global cooked and raw meat
packaging industry.

Stanelco's system utilises its radio frequency (RF) sealing technology in
conjunction with conventional plastics so that they require no laminating or
coating in order to be sealed. It provides a direct replacement for the
heat-sealing of laminated or coated plastics which is currently used to package
both cooked and raw products such as meats, fish and dairy products.

The application will offer major environmental and cost saving benefits for the
end user. By removing the sealing layers and specialist sealing coatings the
conversion waste can be recycled in the tray manufacturing process. In addition,
the RF process is significantly more energy efficient. The process allows the
use of recyclable materials that will provide at least a 20% saving through
allowing conversion waste to be recycled.

On our present estimates, this will translate into an average cost saving per
packaging machine in excess of 100,000 per annum. Total adoption of this
technology in the UK would result in the saving of over 10,000 tons of scrap
plastic going to landfill each year.

The cost of retro-fitting is in the order of 40,000 per machine (which is borne
by the end-user) and thereafter an annual licence fee will be charged to the end
user in the region of 35,000 per unit. There are currently in excess of 400
machines within the UK and over 2,000 machines in Europe. Stanelco is currently
retro-fitting its RF technology to packaging systems used widely within the
packaging industry.

A number of machine manufacturers, end users and large retail multiples are
already in detailed discussions with Stanelco about using this new system.
Stanelco has been running trials with Anglo Beef Processors Ltd and a major
retailer.

This particular application adds further capability to the RF technology
applications in other areas besides capsule manufacture and water-soluble film
developments.

combination of the highly skilled people we now have working in the group
together with the company's commitment to researching and developing green
applications that are more cost-effective than conventional practice. We look
forward to being able to develop a significant new revenue stream for the Group

Keep up Niels - he just said that! But I understand a patent appplied for pre-empts others applying for a patent on similar technology - am I right? Did I spell all this correctly?

I like rereading this,
Howard White. We are know geared up with partners to roll the (greenseal)
technology out to the US as soon as we have completed the 3rd trial with
ASDA dedicated suppliers in the UK he added.
The more i read it, the more i'm convinced.

driver - although I am very bearish on SE0 I have no problem posting 3rd party research - although they may contain positive and negative - is it not strange that I post the link but ramper type people will not ? - this is due to it turning from very positive to less positive now. The IC article clearly states that all the good news for 2006 is already in the price - its how you read the report that matters. No brokers or researcher can go from strong buy to hold or sell - it follows a process of steps down in the event of no massive bad news. With 2006 news in the price already - how can they not go more negative and step it down - anyway - will keep posting information for you to view should you wish - regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

The downtrend is still in effect - and it feels like a possible 7am RNS from the spin/PR machine so just to recap on my July RNS thoughts before any potential release -





The potential RNS topics for July 2005 IMO just sharing my thoughts -

Just some of my opinions on potential RNS news for SE0 this month they may be split together combined obviously maximum effect is all split but that could be abusing the RNS system which IMO has been done already.

1/ Biotec either the deal is done owing to majority shareholder approval (eg Age Of Reason + a couple of others) or a call for an EGM for a vote.

2/ Potentially with the above or separate 3rd trial finished great wonderful super doper sliced bread best thing since all the normal marketing stuff such boundless opportunity etc etc etc etc etc etc..

3/ Potential with the above or separate ROLLOUT yes roll roll roll the kit this big PR/Marketing spin word meaning nothing does not mean big orders in fact they should have been chasing all orders for the last months but hey why not do some fanfare so lets tell the world its now rolling even if they do not have any large orders IMO it lets the rampers ramp some more.

4/ Potential with the above or separate there was a lot of previous talk of Youngs buying a dozen some time ago but so far only one has been purchased perhaps this has been saved to be BIG NEWS after 3rd Trial or Rollout HEY ITS ALL FINISHED AND NOW ORDERS ARE ROLLING IN look at Youngs just purchased 10 more when in fact its old news that has not come through yet.

5/ Potential trials in the USA bad news as every supplier will try anything new for free means more cash burn for SE0 and YET MORE no confirmed large orders - but it would allow the rampers to ramp more. More trials would confirm that there are severe problems IMO.


So from the above 5 points you will see there is plenty of spin potential but sadly IMO no real order potential IMO to justify the already 1000 orders in the price but as yet they only have this year so far 2 confirmed orders. Talk is cheap orders and revenue is what supports the price so if we get the above and no real 100+ orders then there yet again is more hype IMO and nothing to substantiate a price of above 4p.
All the above is just IMO as always watch for forward looking words with any RNS like anticipate hope expect potential could etc etc etc etc as those words in all effect mean nothing.

Agreed :)

Stanelco keep MAP applications, and S.P Metal get various types of bags which are their main market !

Also this opens up another opportunity for Greenseal to be used by S.P. Metal, for all their packaging, because heat sealing cross-links the polymers, and Greenseal does not.

Stanelco will also add $6.25m to the kitty, a VERY healthy amount of cash.

The more you look at this management team - the more impressed you have to be.

They certainly seem to be firing on all 4 cylinders at the moment with the deals that are being brought to the table.

Someone there has good vision and appears to have a realistic strategy that they are following.
