vasey
Yes thanks, I saw it earlier today when I sneaked a peek at work. Any idea why it should suddenly put on 5p like that?

little willie - 04 Mar 2003 09:51 - 695 of 23498

Hi All, thanks for all the comments and gradually getting the hang of Debretts.
Maybe should have changed my monicker from lw to horny [of Africa!] Glad to know the Gloucester Old Spot is keeping up to speed.
Have had three lots of Corporate hospitality, private box, drinks, meal; the first was to witness two world records. We were entertained at the Cricket World Cup match between Sri Lanka and Canada. It was a world record low score of 36 by Canada and the match was over in a world record two hours 8 mins. It was at our local ground about a mile away in Boland, Paarl. Although drinks were flowing upon our arrival our lunch wasn't ready until after the match finished! Bob Willis [commentating] joined us. We then went to Newlands and watched the England game, alas.
Last Friday evening we watched the 'Super Twelves' rugby [ 4 teams from S.A./ New Zealand and Australia] fantastic, 58,000 sellout [left the box at 1.15am].

Is Vasey a really kool chick with the same name as Miss.Black?
Little woman has me intrigued, not many folk promote smallness in any form!
Glad to see all the usual old contemptables here including that sassy plaything with the limp. Hightones nags are still running and 8balls promoting blondes so no change there.

The wheel goes around...lw

vasey - 04 Mar 2003 10:32 - 696 of 23498

lw: I wasn't totally convinced that Clem wouldn't ban all of us, just because there was a vowel in the month, so I decided to have a new identity on this board. I haven't been banned from ADVFN ..... yet, but, yes, I am the Priscilla of ADVFN, and I have taken out the insurance of bagging that name too, so I can decide which name to use once the BETA testing season is declared closed!

Sounds like a great life out there.

Golddog - 04 Mar 2003 10:58 - 697 of 23498

Good Morning.

Im just back from my first Golf lesson, and i did better than i thought i would with a little help from the coach! Must of been all that practising in the garden that did it. I hope to turn Pro by next week! hee he.

Right slap me up a brew.

vasey - 04 Mar 2003 11:04 - 698 of 23498

Have you bought all the dreadful kit? Those Grandad sweaters in pastel shades, the shoes, (Aaargh, they are ugly) and the little bootees to keep the clubheads dry?

Golddog - 04 Mar 2003 11:07 - 699 of 23498

No Sweater! No shoes! and No little bootees. although i will have to get some nice stylish shoes, they do some nice ones you know im sure.

hilary - 04 Mar 2003 11:14 - 700 of 23498

Golddog - 04 Mar 2003 11:22 - 701 of 23498

vasey - 04 Mar 2003 11:27 - 702 of 23498

little willie - 04 Mar 2003 20:40 - 706 of 23498

vasey, can't work out the name [do you like flowers?] I know an Essex girlie joke about that but will refrain; am I missing something? Not sure the local Champers copy product would measure up to your usual Dommie or Cristal but its well slurpable, quenches the bits that heinekin don't get to [now that is crap!] and the very best is about 3-6 a bottle. Good to hear from you.

GD..You'll be fighting the urge to chase your ball when you've hit it, also, be careful on the green when you're sniffing around and for Gawds sake don't cock your leg at the flagpole as it discolours your balls! [cleaned up version of the ciggie butt joke]. After Tiger Woods I give you.........................
Cheewowwah Goldie, got a certain 'clang' about it.

Hils...Hi Sassy, will mail soon. Only opened up your letter of Jan two days ago when finally got connected, so thanks. Hope the healing process is 'up to scratch'. You forgot to tell 'the dog' that its also obligatory to have the belly flopping over the waistband of the Prince of Wales checks, mine certainly is!!
Cheers all...........lw
