THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Fred. Boris knows well the lessons of history. He knows an opportunity when he sees it and has the nerve to go balls all in if he sees a better than evens chance of getting the prize. Got to admire that, but he's still a twit and "flim flams" all over the place. He doesn't actually want out of Europe but thinks he's the man to get a better deal. First of all he needs to get the necessary power and will say what it takes to be the one to sort out the Conservatives after they split wide open after June. This is the way the Geeks and Romans manovered back in the day. Boris has updated the moves for the modern day.

TANKER - 16 Mar 2016 11:16 - 69012 of 81564

wil you are a sad person
hay Clinton is a slapper she is sickening a bitch no wonder bill wanted another slapper
but at least the slapper he picked was good looking unlike Hilary the ugly cow

cynic - 16 Mar 2016 11:26 - 69013 of 81564

i find it very interesting that labour mps seem to have been discreetly gagged

given the split throughout the country, it is inconceivable that there are not an awful lot of labour mps who would also like uk to exit eu, but nary a peep

jimmy b - 16 Mar 2016 11:26 - 69014 of 81564

I don't mind Boris but not as Prime Minister ,these days i don't like any politicians much.
If Cameron steps down when we vote out you would do worse than to vote for me as new leader i have some good ideas although Fred and Stan wouldn't be too happy.

jimmy b - 16 Mar 2016 11:28 - 69015 of 81564

And anyone who thinks Trump doesn't stand a chance better dream on because he does.
Crazy as that may be.
Now that would go to show how none of the intelligent folk they have in the USA want the job .

will10 - 16 Mar 2016 11:30 - 69016 of 81564

Tanker. What a fuckwit you are. Hold back with your crude insults based on a womans appearance. You're not a 12 year old spotty kid. Have you ever met Mrs Clinton?. I'm still waiting for why you have Trump down as a great man.

cynic - 16 Mar 2016 12:02 - 69017 of 81564

will - please do not keep rising to the bait ...... i confess i can or have been guilty of this, so for respite, i just use the squelch button on MrT for a while so that i do not get tempted

:-) and xxx

MaxK - 16 Mar 2016 12:07 - 69018 of 81564

Trump has a chance, because people are cheesed off with chosen chancers who purport to want to improve their lives.

Remember?

And what did they get? 50 million people on food stamps!

Fred1new - 16 Mar 2016 12:19 - 69019 of 81564

Will,.

when I played chess a little I thought of opposition like him played the bluster attack and tended to sit back and let them blow themselves out.

The problem with Boris is his ability to self-inflate himself and gather others around who admire his "wit" rather than lack of integrity!

-=-==-

JB,

I thought of you a full blooded "Trump" ardent adherent!

An "up and at them" sort of guy.

TANKER - 16 Mar 2016 12:48 - 69020 of 81564

will you are just a sad person trump will win the day arseholes like you left wing shit are scared to see the right wing and make you left wing arseholes work

Stan - 16 Mar 2016 12:50 - 69021 of 81564

Another banning order being written as we speak?

will10 - 16 Mar 2016 13:45 - 69022 of 81564

Tanker. Doubt anyone I know would call me a left winger. My politics are well to the right of Gingus Khan.
I was commenting on your spoty kid like attitude to women. Attack a person on their record or policies. Only someone lacking in their manhood takes an insulting attitude to women based on their looks. In time I'm sure Americans will do the right thing but only after trying everything else. That includes nominating Trump.

TANKER - 16 Mar 2016 14:03 - 69023 of 81564

wil we beg to differ end

TANKER - 16 Mar 2016 14:38 - 69024 of 81564

budget nothing for the low paid only misery

Stan - 16 Mar 2016 15:04 - 69025 of 81564

What do you expect with a "Con" artist Government then.

Haystack - 16 Mar 2016 19:43 - 69026 of 81564

Excellent budget.

MaxK - 16 Mar 2016 19:55 - 69027 of 81564

There's got to be a few unexploded bombs in the detail.

Fred1new - 16 Mar 2016 19:58 - 69028 of 81564

Hays,

Restart your medicines!

Haystack - 16 Mar 2016 21:16 - 69029 of 81564

It is looking increasingly likely that Trump won't get enough nominations to get automatically selected as the Republican candidate,. He will almost certainly get the most nominations but less than 50%.

Trump knows he won't get 50% and is already talking of riots if he doesn't get the nomination. The leaders of the party may opt for a 'brokered' nomination which could see Trump trumped by Cruz or even another. The other choice is a contested nomination where the delegates at the convention argue it out. You can bet the party will do their best to exclude Trump as he is a loser in the Presidential election.
