Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Fred1 is one of those bleeding heart liberals who would have open door immigration flooding the west, with peoples of different religions and cultures to the detriment of the indigenous populations...Turning european countries into third world ghetto's..
Why is it Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other RICH countries in the ME not take any of their fellow 'destitute' muslim brotherhood?
Frau Merkel along with most other weak Western leaders have betrayed their own peoples future and cultures..

VIC ,the Germans have had enough ,only a small minority were shown welcoming them last summer ,the real majority don't want them .
Merkel is on the way out ,we are on the way out of the EU and after that it will collapse as i hope it does ,all borders will be back up and the minority luvvie leftwing idiots can go and seek their multicultural bullshit elsewhere hopefully they can go and live in the middle east.

as always, fred doesn't like the answer he is given and as always, he distorts whatever was actually said
for example, he pointedly refuses to accept that i did NOT say or even imply "pull up the drawbridge"
I also doubt that my younger son would advocate open-door for one and all ...... he's got more sense

Manuel.
Many reading your posts may contradict you.
But before responding read information in the Wikipedia article.
I know you are full up with opinions, but the information might modify some of them.

for my part, i could forlornly wish that you read properly what i wrote and then responded accurately, but then you almost never do

Manuel,
Thankfully, I don't consider myself beholden to you.
Therefore, I do not consider it necessary to make the effort to answer to respond to your requests, but suggest you re-read your own postings, engage your brain and ponder over your own quests.
Also, suggest you check back through the contents of your multiple postings.

there's a difference between an open-door policy as fred would advocate, and allowing immigration for those who offer something in return - along the oz points system if you like
from a moral point of view, i think we have an absolute obligation to accept a quantity of genuine war refugees - eg syrians ...... of course many of those will be highly qualified too!
not sure that 20,000 over 5 years is reasonable, but 200,000 would be too many i think and of course, 2,000,000 totally preposterous

Just knocking back a Guinness or two with a few paddy's off the site. Made the mistake of looking in.I probably regret it tomorrow. Just want to say, at a 'do' the other month spoke to a nice Syrian lad. Told me his story. He swam most way across channel. Plucked out just in time by coastguard. In the process now. By the way Tanker took your advice last month, provided some of my time to help a local charity re model an old house. First refugee now comfortably settled in. If you have some spare time look up a charity in your area and help out..
