THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

What a wonderful person you are Wil , having a Guiness on St Patricks day , comforting some refugee with a story , was there someone standing over you with a Halo , just another 80,000 thousand more Syrians over here and you'll be happy if I remember rightly .

I think Britain is already nearly finished ,if we vote out there just may be a chance of saving it but we would need the right people who are not just in it for them selves.

Stan - 18 Mar 2016 09:15 - 69101 of 81564

How many more times, you lot voted for the Governments over the years that have set low wage rip-off Britain up.. and now your moaning about it.

You just show yourselves up time and time again.

jimmy b - 18 Mar 2016 09:21 - 69102 of 81564

Stan you don't know who i voted for ,plus did you vote for Blair and we know you would vote for Corbyn who is a lunatic.

Blair started the immigration in to this country by the hundreds of thousands .

I don't like any of them i have said that before .

Stan - 18 Mar 2016 09:34 - 69103 of 81564

Yes I do JB.

You are obviously in denial with most of the rest of them on this thread.

Fred1new - 18 Mar 2016 09:36 - 69104 of 81564

Fred1new - 18 Mar 2016 09:42 - 69105 of 81564

JB,

I would have thought that Tampon Cameron's ability to change the Vat rules on tampons would indicate that rules in the EU can be modified with general consent.

jimmy b - 18 Mar 2016 09:50 - 69106 of 81564

Stan no answer as usual , vote for Corbyn and see what mess we end up in .

iturama - 18 Mar 2016 09:53 - 69107 of 81564

Poverty is an overused term. After the war most people didn't ever think they would own their own homes. Or go on continental holidays. Or even own a car or telephone. Most were too busy bringing their kids up as well as possible. Coca cola and potato chips were unknown. We all walked to school.
Now some, note some, complain when they can't go to Benidorm twice a year or don't have money for bingo, booze and fags. They are often fat and lazy while the bleeding hearts put that down to poor diet.
I have said repeatedly that I have nothing against people that come here legally and work hard. The NUS and care homes would collapse without those people. I am against the free loaders and benefit scoungers that work the system at often absurd cost. But who is to blame for letting that happen...
On another topic, I note Osborne has been repeating Cameron's "reformed Europe". The inners must have it written down on the back of their hands as a reminder. What exactly has been reformed? The clown has to go to the EU to beg a reduction in VAT on sanitary products. The annual tax revenues from those are less than we hand over to the EU each day. Couldn't make it up.

VICTIM - 18 Mar 2016 10:03 - 69108 of 81564

jimmy there's some folk who see a situation scarper for 8 hrs come back and say , haven't you sorted that out yet , and then there's people who actually account for themselves and their responsibilities .Say no more .

Stan - 18 Mar 2016 10:08 - 69109 of 81564

RWM Alert!

I've been doing some homework and I've decided I'm all for investing into the booming business of tattoo parlours.

Everyone seem to be having at least one done (except me and wifey, that is).

What's the best way of selling them?

Would it be a good idea to say, open one in a room in a pub and sell '12 shots and a tattoo for £25.00'?

Fred1new - 18 Mar 2016 12:36 - 69111 of 81564

Sell them as transfers!

At least they can be washed away!
