OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Ingredients
For the pancakes:
140g/5oz plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
250ml/9fl oz Guinness(approximately)
tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the topping:
4-6 rashers of dry-cured bacon
knob of butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 heaped tbsp grated mature cheddar
2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (eg: chives, parsley, basil)

Chocs, I should be saying you are sweet enough already now I suppose?! Well, I'm not going to be as corny as that, er though I think I already did in a way; oh well, if the cap fits :o)

Ok Skinny, I'll have a go, where's the bacon, cheese and herbs? I know where the Guinness is (hic).

Well, um, my pancakes have reached a new high Bunny; just as soon as they come down off the ceiling you can have some. Lemon and sugar are ready!
