Dave
You're right, we paid about 30-40 for each. Probably gone down the rough end of the street where the council houses are.

daves dazzlers - 01 Jun 2004 15:26 - 6981 of 23498

may be,funny thing is these builders where knocking down to old houses,,so they was not bothered,it was only going as rubble at the end of the day,,there now stands some poxy video shop on it.

stockbunny - 01 Jun 2004 15:38 - 6982 of 23498

Hi Dave - yes still holding on MKS, but may not much longer...
Got a choice to make, get out today and take what profit is there or
be prepared to let it ride until tomorrow lunchtime, as I MUST go
shopping tomorrow morning!

hilary - 01 Jun 2004 15:45 - 6983 of 23498

They were probably Millwall fans, Jeff.

jeffmack - 01 Jun 2004 16:03 - 6988 of 23498

Hil
I wont have any neighbours and only a dirt track to the house. Plus a big dog

stockbunny - 01 Jun 2004 16:05 - 6989 of 23498

Just sold MKS (bought 274p, got out at 365.8p) so pretty good.
I expect them to go to about 400p, but as I can't monitor them
tomorrow morning I don't want to risk Greenie pulling out and the
price dropping whilst I'm walking round the shops!

dave - yes I hold MTN too, showing a profit but hopefully that will
increase as the days pass on the back of MKS, so will be watching
them closely...

Must go - be lucky people and Jeff sorry about the pots....

hilary - 01 Jun 2004 16:16 - 6990 of 23498

No neighbours and just a dirt track to the house could be bad news, Jeff. Any burglars won't worry about doing harm to you.

Did I tell you about a trip that J and I had to look at a place in SW France? One of the houses that we looked at was a murder scene which hadn't been cleared up. It was out in the middle of nowhere. Playing cards everywhere, spilt bottle of red wine and the chalk outline of the body on the floor. Straight out of Kojak.

Dave,

The King is dead ...... Long live the King. So bring on Mourinho. He must know that he's about to enter the lion's den. We'll soon see if he's up for it.

jeffmack - 01 Jun 2004 16:18 - 6991 of 23498

Hilary
Good place to leave the wife then!

optomistic - 01 Jun 2004 16:34 - 6992 of 23498

I had a chimney pot once lasted a whole day (dissapeared overnight). They must be constantly on the move, until the last owner wires and beds it in concrete. Not really the thing to put in your front garden.

daves dazzlers - 01 Jun 2004 16:34 - 6993 of 23498

whats he doing at millwall, has the russian mafia not issued maps to him.

jeffmack - 01 Jun 2004 17:06 - 6994 of 23498

Thanks Opto -:(

Socrates - 01 Jun 2004 17:08 - 6995 of 23498

Poor old Socco.

jeffmack - 01 Jun 2004 17:09 - 6996 of 23498

Why, you been sacked?

hilary - 01 Jun 2004 17:14 - 6997 of 23498

Is that as in:

a) Why are you poor? Have you been sacked?

or

b) Why have you been sacked?

jeffmack - 01 Jun 2004 17:18 - 6998 of 23498

Maybe he's just got a corn.
