In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 62.6 points at 17,771.88, while the
Hang Seng reached the midpoint down 62.96 points at 20,552.53.

New York's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in July, was 17
cents lower at $65.80 a barrel after jumping $1.21 to $65.97 in US trading Monday.
