In the US Friday, the Dow tumbled 126 points at 11,019, the Nasdaq lost 34 points
at 2,481 and the S&P500 fell 20 points to 1,192.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was down 177.84 points at 10,924.34, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning off 350.07 points at 21,515.19.

Crude oil traded at $81.76 a barrel on Nymex.

Gold settled at $1,135 an ounce.
