Theresa May is fighting for her job as British Prime Minister after being told she will face a vote of no confidence in her leadership, throwing the UK into fresh turmoil and Brexit into disarray.
The Pounds reaction following this breaking news was to decline but has since moved up a few ticks but still well below levels we had seen at the start of the week.
There is no UK economic data of note today. However, the RICS house price balance for November will be released early tomorrow morning. It is expected to show that housing market activity remains sluggish.
