ZOO Digital Group plc ('ZOO' or 'the Company')

ZOO acquires 33 titles from Atari and launches 'ZOO Classics' range



ZOO Digital Group plc ('ZOO'), the technology and games publishing company,
today announced that it has acquired the intellectual property rights of Gremlin
Interactive together with a catalogue of fifteen PlayStation One ('PSOne') games
and eighteen PC games for an undisclosed one-off payment.



The games are a collection of classic best-selling titles from Gremlin
Interactive, which was acquired by Atari in 1999. ZOO will publish all the
games under its new 'ZOO Classics' range of budget titles. The Company intends
to launch the PSOne range in mid October across Europe, with the view to
capturing the Christmas market. The PC titles will be published in 2004 and
further PSOne and PC titles will be added to the range for release throughout
next year.



The intellectual property rights and games acquired include titles from the
best-selling Actua range such as Actua Soccer 3, Actua Golf 3 and Actua Tennis.
Highly acclaimed titles such as Judge Dredd and Hogs of War are also included.

model has been adopted due to the low break even sales levels required and the
ever increasing costs development. ZOO has published and distributed a wealth of
quality titles predominantly on GBA, PS2 and PC platforms including Medal of
Honor Underground, Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf, Premier Manager, Who Wants To Be A
Millionaire? and Sim City 2000. Over 40 sku's will be released in Q4 2003.

This should make for a good base of turnover to bolster the new development of the dvd extra TM until it starts to be taken up by more companies. These titles were obtained "on the cheap" allowing a cost cutting range of sales for both volume and turnover. Good work zoo.

I have likened Zoo to NXT, but NXT without the valuable revenues coming in meaning they have to return to market time after time to raise further money just to keep going.

That 450k should have thrown a spanner in the works but the fact that it has held up after is a very good sign. Brokers now paying 9p for these at the minute and they were already marked up to 8.75 this morning. Keep it up mm's
