Does CEN still looking good? (CEN)

As there doesn't seem to be anything about what CEN has in the cupboard on the thread! I thought I would post something about their main product.

LONDON (AFX) - CeNeS Pharmaceuticals PLC said it has additional data
produced by external academic groups supporting the potential of
morphine-6-glucuronide or M6G as an alternative to morphine in the treatment of
post-operative pain.
In a statement, the company said the data is being presented at three major
European and North American pain conferences.
M6G is currently in phase III of its clinical development programme for the
treatment of post-operative pain. The results from the first phase III study
will be available in mid 2004, the statement added.

Apparently some of those came with the TheraSci purchase ajren! Obviously they, GSK, think both companies had something of interest, so that must be very good news for us!

ckmtang - 08 Dec 2003 15:53 - 12 of 16

LONDON (AFX) - Shares in CeNeS Pharmaceuticals made modest headway after news that GlaxoSmithKline has picked up a 5 pct stake in the drugs developer.

CeNeS shares were 0.88 firmer at 8.75 pence by 8.07 am.

Elsewhere among small-caps, K3 Business advanced 2 to 12-1/2 in response to news that the company is to partner with Microsoft in the launch of CRM software.

I used to trade regularly on Nasdaq and S/P and learnt - the hard way -
that the likes of G.S.K.only invest in good propositions. Therefore,I
think it is very good news rgds aj

-- ajren,

Re: "GSK only invest in good proposition". They aren't infallible - you might want to have a look at their record with their Clinical Labs business - which they sold at a huge loss, after running it as a money pit for a number of years.

Hi zzaxx99
I agree.I should have said - instead of ONLY - generally/usually.rgds aj
