Netb2b2 went so low don't you think it has to rise sometime?
Maybe it's time to make some profit from them!
Here's a recent FT article.
NetB2B2 shares up 16% on strong FY results
Last Update: 11/18/2002 6:20:32 AM
Shares in NetB2B2 (UK:NEB) were up 16 per cent to 0.7p in mid-morning trading on Monday after the digital services firm's 2002 full year results showed a narrowed loss before tax of 2.4m from 7.7m in 2001. Losses per share were 0.9p from 3.9p in 2001. Turnover doubled to 6m as the company achieved positive operating free cashflow. Keith Young, NetB2B2 Plc chairman commented: "We believe that there are likely to be a growing number of opportunities for the development of the group in a market that has seen a large reduction in the number of competitors providing like services. At the same time we continue to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities."

"Netb2b2 went so low don't you think it has to rise sometime"
You have to ask yourself why is it so low? The chart is a flat line, rise of 16%, the spread is 40%, a real bucket shop share!imho

P.S.Gordon Geko:-I think you made a wise move getting out as most oil shares
are-in my opinion-dangerous because of terrorism/Russian Yukos/Iraq,etc.

Fortune Oil, FTO, looking better than ever now !

I bought a considerable sum of IAL several months ago at 3p and topped up with a load more at 2.48p on Friday. The risk with a company such as IAL is that it is on the brink of either falling totally or bouncing back to recovery. The former you stand to lose your investment (which is the risk that you take) or in the latter case you stand to make a healthy gain. I have took this risk based on the forecast of the company being cash flow positive next year, the desire and determination of it`s management and further recomendation from Shares. FTO has been looking positive for a while and has received glowing reports on other bulletin boards. You pay your money, you take a choice......

Hi dandu71.That is exactly what I did - I bought Corus at 8p when there was a
good chance it might have folded. My biggest regret is that I sold at 14 p -
after the countless hours I spent 7 days a week researching it.aj
Obviously you think Ial has great potential.I will look at it.

ajren,
I think you are mistaken about Fortune oil.
it is more than "an oil company", it imports oil into China, utilising FTO's own exclusive mooring facilities, and i don't agree that world terrorism threatens this at all, IMHO.
FTO looks to be sailing a steady course now, and I feel it will reward the patient investor.

AJ don`t beat yourself up about selling Corus at 14p, i don`t think many private investors can recall a time when they bought at the lowest price possible and sold at the highest. Just looking at IAL so far today the buys have outweighed the sells 10 fold which if the trend keeps up will help to pull the price back up, although I wouldn`t be expecting too much from this company until 2004. This time next year I`ll either be regretting my punt or living it up in the Carribean!

Take a look at TIR. They are trading @ just over tuppence and their portfolio alone is worth more than that - real potential if any of their holdings/projects come good (incl MNT!) Go here: http://www.tiger-rf.com/index.cfm

Puffinmaster,
I meant TIR when I posted earlier (and put TIG by mistake) - I agree they are worth watching. Last time Minmet put a spurt on shares in TIR jumped 75% as they have a large holding. They invest in mining companies and may well benefit from the current surge in the mining sector (I have some shares by the way bought at 1.4p).

ACTIF GROUP (AIM:ACT) – 8.1p BUY
Shares in this swimwear retailer zoomed up to 10.75p after our tip at 8.13p (13 Nov ’03) but profit takers moved in, slashing the price to under 8p. Not to worry. Big price movements occur in little stocks and the underlying picture remains unchanged

Thanks Roy, could you give any guestimates when IAL may sart seeing an upturn? I know they are forecast to be cashflow positive in 2004 so i`ve tucked my money away and just keeping and eye on it with a view to an upturn. They have been flatlined now for many months, any ideas when the upturn may commence?

I've been in FTO since 1999 when it was sailing up and down on the then tech boom. Made some monet from it them but have held a core amount long term and am in the red 50% down, so these have quite a way to retrace to former levels.
Indications are good that streamlining of their business activities are allowing losses to be cut and them to concentrate on the more prospective aspects.
It's a huge market place out there and when trading picks up and takes off, as it will inevitably do at some point, FTO are positioned to take advantage on a few fronts.
Speculative long term recovery buy IMHO.
