Run up to results could prove profitable (NRG)

capa - 28 Jul 2004 09:02

Results due on the 10th August, last trading statement mentioned, they were substantially ahead of forecasts. Low looking forward p/e and dividend to boot.

Expect these to be in excess of 1.40 come results.

Cracking results as predicted, have beaten brokers forecast for next year !

Single digit p/e going forward makes the share price ridiculously cheap.

The market will cotton on one day.

Nice rise today, perhaps people have cottoned on to how undervalued this is, compared to its peers.

Another tick up to a new high.

Anyone else got these? Or am I talking to myself ?

You still in these capa, just been brought to my attention.

capa - 11 Nov 2004 08:22 - 11 of 16

Yes still here Kivver.

Haven't changed my opinion about them either just not posted recently as nobody was listening. Like talking into a dead phone.

I am reckoning on an eps of 17p next results which puts them on a big discount to the sector, that is forgetting the cash pile they are sitting on.

Did you get any Kivver?

Wouldn't be surprised to see a trading statement any day now.

A lot of volume going through today.

Quantica have come out with a good trading statement today, which seems to confirm that the sector is still doing fine. NRG are the best value in the sector imo.

60% up since this thread started at the end of July, results due at end of January which should see eps over and above broker estimates and cash pile growing.

Easily another 50% rise in sp this year to be had imo.

Boring share but the best usually are.

Robbie Burns aka The Naked Trader has NRG as one of his five for 2005.
