Post from another board.

Although we have had bits of good news from RNS's - cost savings of 450k on admin. costs and the recovery is on the way, we only have the interim figures to draw against for future figures.
1. Turnover on a continuing basis could be a minimum of 3.342m
2. Operating costs based on interims could be 2.8m
3. Admin costs could be 1.2m less the saving of 450k = 750k
4. I see that there was misc income which could be 180k for a full year.
The net profit is the question, and the main factor depends on
a) A further rise in turnover from the figure quoted above and
b) A further lowering of costs, especially operating costs.
There is a lot of unknown factors here. Profit could be anything from break even to 500k if turnover was to hit 4m. The share price could realistically be anything from the current 0.12p to 0.36p, based on profits of 500k on a nil tax basis, on a pe of 6. Based on a tax charge the top end would be 0.25p. As I see it the profit is going to come from extra turnover and economies of scale. What about the turnover to come from Kigass?
Surely the combined turnover should be more than 1.6m for the half year.
A lot of unknown factors which one can only speculate at present.
I suspect that the results will be announced in early May, despite the RNS.

If BUC perform like they should do then I certainly will.

Results just out

Outlook

Based on current internal forecasts, we expect that the Group should be
profitable in the second half of 2006; the first half of the year will see a
further, very much reduced loss as we incur the final costs of running parallel
production facilities in Redditch and Bangkok.

The prospects for the Group once the transfer of all manufacturing to Thailand
is completed remain very positive.

Restructuring, the group is expected to generate significant profits in the second half of 2006 and beyond.

I have read the statement in the accounts above but I am confused when it says in the star points that we should be looking a significant profit, but then the Outlook says should be in profit in the second half.
Hopefully eventually we will see a profit.
Interims due mid September.

moneyman - 10 Oct 2006 12:10 - 17 of 26

Starting to move up. Someone said they thought that the drop may have been due to the problems in Thailand.

moneyman - 01 Nov 2006 13:25 - 18 of 26

Had two good days of buying and no selling. Consolidation at this level then hopefully a move higher.

moneyman - 07 Nov 2006 16:07 - 19 of 26

Well the few sells that have occured over the last couple of days have been taken out by that 1M purchase.

moneyman - 08 Nov 2006 14:54 - 20 of 26

Can hardly buy any online now.

moneyman - 13 Nov 2006 11:08 - 21 of 26

Thought that the MMs couldn't hold it for much longer.

moneyman - 19 Nov 2006 20:06 - 22 of 26

Tried to move higher again Friday so would not expect it to sit as this level much longer.

moneyman - 16 Jan 2007 13:44 - 23 of 26

Nice to see that they have moved the bid up today.Presently quoting .8/.9 with 250K on offer.

Buckland Interim Results

For immediate release: 25 September 2006 BUCKLAND GROUP PLC ("Buckland" or the "Group") Interim Report for the Six Months Ended 30 June 2006 Chairman's StatementI present the interim results for Buckland for the six months ended 30 June
2006. These show an operating profit before tax from continuing operations of
36,302 on sales of 1,576,338 ; after losses from the discontinued operations
of DK Gas Components Ltd, the consolidated pre-tax loss was 148,397 compared
with a loss of 294,706 for the first half of 2005. The loss per share was
0.02p (2005: 0.15p loss per share). No interim dividend is proposed.
Review of OperationsDuring the first half of 2006 we successfully completed the transfer of DK Gas'
remaining manufacturing operations from Redditch to Bangkok and on 12th July DK
Gas in the UK was closed. All the group's spark ignition generators and
electrodes are now produced in Thailand and sold internationally under the
Derlite name. The logistics of this currently requires us to ship some product
by air to Europe whilst we build up the inventories in transit by sea; this
airfreight requirement is expected to be eliminated by the end of this year.
Demand for our range of products remained steady over the first half of 2006,
at volumes similar to the second half of last year, with the majority of our
output continuing to be for the gas cooker markets in the UK and North America. In recent weeks we have taken on a number of major new customers in the UK gas
boiler market and we therefore anticipate that, over the next six months, the
group will be able to start generating some significant sales growth.
Balance sheetThese interim results include the trading losses incurred by DK Gas until
closure and the consolidated balance sheet at 30th June provides fully for the
impact of that closure. The group's short term liquidity was improved by the
placing of 25,000 of new shares in July and by the issuance earlier this
month of 125,000 of unlisted convertible loan notes.
OutlookThe military coup in Thailand last week has not caused any disruption to the
group's operations in that country and we think it unlikely that it will in the
future. The second half of this year will see the initial benefit of the much
reduced cost base following the transfer of all manufacturing to Bangkok, with
the full benefit coming through once we eliminate the need for airfreight.
The Board is confident that, after some very difficult times, the Group can
look forward to an increasing level of profitability.

I like this and it speaks volumes

http://th.jobsdb.com/TH/TH/Job.asp?R=JDBT041844151&25067

Due to recent expansion of our business we now seek a Sales Manager.

guru11 - 24 Mar 2007 21:27 - 26 of 26

Express said hoping to raise $350k for a placing to buy another gas ignition company this time in Thailand - Expanding now - as well as much lower costs this time around - and higher turnover - next it should be surprisingly good results and a rise in shareprice.
