WHAT IS GOING ON? (MDY)

sockinafootsie - 13 Apr 2005 14:08

Don't just sit there, have a look at Medisys? With all these buys .... ... the price should be rapidly going north very soon!

Hi sockinafootsie

Glad to see the SP rise, do you know what deal is around the corner?

driver - 15 Jul 2005 12:50 - 8 of 12

Got in on these today, they have been on my watch list since 15p. I now think they are on the road to recovery and a more sensible sp over the coming months.

moneyman - 15 Jul 2005 19:14 - 9 of 12

I think we will see a continued rise over the comming months. Good recovery play after the recent deal announcements.

ONWARD AND UPWARD !!!!! GO MDY

hangon - 24 Apr 2006 16:45 - 11 of 12

We know now that all that was MDY was a house of cards and now the wind of change has come too close it all falls down.
Mr Wong should be booted out as I always had the feeling that he was the MDY "Mr Big" and considered the co to be his, with investors a sideline activity.
/
Now we hear they may move to AIM and form an investment company - but wait a bit - the City won't look at an AIM vehicle and I wonder how many of the (private investors), will be too keen to start this gamble all over again..........you can bet thqt there will be a 10:1 consolidation to kick-start the sp towards 30p and that means some investors will lose out those odd fractions.
/
Anyone going to the EGM should have a voice of an ACTION Group....and suggest that
1) the company disposes of Mr Wong, immediately without compensation (the rise in sp will improve his own holding in a trust fund, so it's no real loss, eh?
2) the company committs to sataying on the main market for a further two years until the nature and skills of the new management can be assessed ( we don't want to be over-invested in another dud management in a failing medico business, do we?
3) the company offers a good package to a new CEO based upon performance as seen by investors, say one year ago (so about 7p, let's say)......the current sp is artificially low as PI's have been scarred into selling......and the uncertainty of the product range (esp no New products for years).....by all means this new CEO needs investment experience and so we don't want to see the likes of anyone from many of the VCT's that rely upon the 20% tax rebate to make out they are doing a good job.
The management of an investment company needs eyes on balls, but once the investment is made the role becomes less onerous and the salary should reflect this.....base the reward on what shareholders get is a far better scheme.
Anyone starting an ACTION Group........?

RE. Anyone starting an ACTION Group........?

I think they have started one on advfn but for myself I cannot be bothered with all this and have moved on swiftly.
