KD, at www.ofex.com is a wealth of data including prices, news and recent trades.
MP, this is what I think Ofex used to be more about, small exciting and possibly fast growing companies. On AIM this would have a totally different rating.
As well as producing the Three Tenors, this is the sort of management and business I've got myself a stake in here on a 2 million market cap:
"The many shows and presentations produced by Pete Brightman, over the past two decades, have embraced such venues and organisations; including:

The Royal Opera House Covent Garden.
The Kennedy Centre, Washington DC.
Metropolitan Opera House, New York.
Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, New York.
The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles.
Pantages Theatre, Los Angeles.
Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles.
The Coliseum, Royal Festival Hall, London.
Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall, London.
Palladium and Dominion Theatres, London.
The Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow.
The Maryinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg.
The Beiteddine Festival, Lebanon.
The Athens Festival, Greece.
The Imperial Theatre of the Forbidden City Beijing, China..."

It gets more interesting by the minute.

Excelent set of artists above. Yes its speculative, but often this type on Ofex pays. Mind as always DYOR.

cheers GF. PS, watch out for new big announcements very soon.

Results out today point to a very interesting second half.........

Creative Entertainment Group plc - Interim Results

28/04/2006

CREATIVE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP PLC (`CREATIVE' OR `THE COMPANY')

INTERIM RESULTS

Creative Entertainment Group plc, the Ofex-traded facilitator of musical and
theatrical events, announces its interim results for the six months ended 31
January 2006.

OVERVIEW

* Successful reverse acquisition of Ofex-traded JGP Investments PLC at the
end of January 2006
* Team strengthened and New York presence established
* High profile contracts won for the summer of 2006 working with artists
including Jose Carreras, Jennifer Lopez, Luciano Pavarotti, the Red Hot
Chilli Peppers, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi and The Who
* Seasonal business with four small events in first half, 27 planned in the
second half with more in negotiation compared with 11 in the same period
last year
* Healthy pipeline of new business opportunities
* Strategy aimed at developing international presence and corporate events
business which will also help to alleviate seasonal turnover
* Fee income of GBP67,000 and loss before tax of GBP98,000

CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT

I am pleased to report our inaugural interim results since the successful
reverse acquisition of Ofex-traded JGP Investments PLC at the end of January
2006. This move to Ofex has allowed us to put further elements of the business
in place: we have strengthened the team; opened an office in New York; and, in
line with our strategy, we have focused our efforts towards increasing our
activities on corporate and international events. With a solid foundation in
place, and having won a number of high profile contracts, we are now poised to
take advantage of the strong market conditions and are optimistic for the
coming year. I believe that we are well on the way to establishing a presence
as being a negotiator and facilitator of concerts with internationally
recognised stars at a multitude of venues as well as being a corporate events
organiser.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

Our results are in line with expectations. Given the nature of the Company's
business, which is currently dominated by events at UK football grounds, the
revenue is largely generated in the summer months. However we are focused on
developing our international presence and our corporate events business, and
once these come on track, this seasonality will be somewhat mitigated.

With this in mind results for the six months to 31 January 2006 show a fee
income of GBP67,000 and loss before tax of GBP98,000.

EVENTS

The organisation of live entertainment events at stadia worldwide remains our
core business, with our strategy focused on increasing our international
presence and developing our corporate events business.

Our business is essentially all about relationships and there are few that have
as many contacts in our sector as your company's Chief Executive Peter
Brightman. He and his team are not only building on existing relations with
long standing contacts, but are also focused on expanding their worldwide
network, which is resulting in significantly increased activity.

As I mentioned earlier, the majority of our turnover is generated in the second
half of the year. While in the first six months we facilitated just four
relatively small events, we are already contracted for 27 events in the next
six months and several others are in the final stages of negotiation. This
compares with 11 events in the second half of last year.

Contracted events in the second half year include Jose Carreras in Tripoli,
which took place in April, Jennifer Lopez in Athens and Thessaloniki and Billy
Joel and Luciano Pavarotti at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. We are also
facilitating concerts for Bon Jovi at Hull City FC, the Red Hot Chili Peppers
with Live Nation at Ipswich FC in June and Derby FC in July, and The Who's
concert at Ashton Gate in Bristol, also in June.

KEY APPOINTMENTS

We have made some key appointments in the period, including Sharon Kim-Dion who
has joined as President of Fine Arts Management and Director of Creative
Entertainment Group USA. Sharon, who will be based in our new office in New
York on Broadway, adds a wealth of experience to the team having previously
worked as Vice President and Artist Manager of Columbia Artists Management in
New York where she worked alongside some of the world's leading performers.

Additionally, Charlotte Atherton, who has considerable experience in the
sector, has joined to head up the Corporate Entertainment Division.

PROSPECTS

Our new team is hungry for success. Essentially this translates into the
simple fact that the drive for new business has stepped up a level and as a
result we are seeing an increase in the number of opportunities we are being
presented with. While we are focused on organic growth, our strategy is also
to explore growth via acquisition and we continue to assess various
opportunities.

With a solid management, established offices in the UK and New York and good
relationships with both key international venues and a host of top celebrities,
we believe we are ideally placed to increase our market share substantially and
deliver value to shareholders.

Finally, I would like to thank the whole team for all their efforts and hope
that their continued enthusiasm will help drive Creative Entertainment to
achieve its long term ambitions.

matthewm - 28 Apr 2006 15:58 - 14 of 17

Nice thread guys. Im tempted. Can anyone tell me which brokers deal in OFEX stocks?

hawick - 28 Apr 2006 16:31 - 15 of 17

Matthewm hi most brokers, some need a phone call. I usually use TDW not always. Posted this elsewhere:

Hadn't quite realised the level of seasonality, and based on 4 events a small loss reported.

However they have 27 events lined up in the second half, compared to 11 last year, and some truly awesome names signed up.

So if they made 99k pre tax last year, including 11 events in the second half, now with 27 signed and more in the pipeline, then I am hopeful the full year will bring further substantial improvement.

As I have said this is highly speculative, but there is a fair bit of tomorrow's jam now signed up - and for the brave these should be a very exciting ride. Keeping mine and should funds become available, worth adding. Definitely one for the 'fun' end of your portfolio!

A tasty extract:
"High profile contracts won for the summer of 2006 working with artists
including Jose Carreras, Jennifer Lopez, Luciano Pavarotti, the Red Hot
Chilli Peppers, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi and The Who.'

And:
'Our business is essentially all about relationships and there are few that have
as many contacts in our sector as your company's Chief Executive Peter
Brightman. He and his team are not only building on existing relations with
long standing contacts, but are also focused on expanding their worldwide
network, which is resulting in significantly increased activity.'
