Fat Albert and Postman Pat? No Sleep (ERT)

driver - 26 May 2005 15:02

Entertainment Rights Plc

We look forward to the first full year's contribution from our 2004 acquisitions; The Filmation library of classic contemporary animated programming and Tell-Tale Productions, the creative talent behind the hugely successful TweeniesTM. The integration of Filmation is complete and the successful roll-out of DVD titles for Fat AlbertTM and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe(R) in the US, reaffirms the Board's belief that 2005 will be a significant year for the library. Tell-Tale Productions' integration into the Company has beenrealised and the TweeniesTM live arena show, 'No Sleep 'Till Bedtime' has recently toured the country playing to a total audience of over 110,000. Work continues on Tell-Tale's strong and innovative development and production slate with Tell-Tale's brand new programming Fun Song Factory and BB3B enjoying ratings success on CiTV and the BBC respectively.
The Company is well positioned for long-term growth via its strategy of aggregating quality owned and third party multi-media content. Demand for our content has never been higher as the digital age transforms the global mediamarket. The Board is confident that trading remains in line with market expectations.'

This company is well positioned to go onward and upwards, a nice stock to have in your portfolio, and tell your kids a bedtime story all about your Postman Pat investment. Zzzzzz zzzzzz

RE trackers: what it means is when the M/Cap gets to a certain high or level, the tracker fund managers start to buy it, to put in there tracker funds, in some cases it is automatic i.e by computers, although in this case, as in seo you wouldnt have thought it would have much impact, because the M/Cap is only still in the small caps, but some trackers fund managers can choose a stock that they think will do well then buy it. I think I have gone round the houses a bit but that is roughly it.

I thought they wouldnt touch anything with a m/cap of less than 50 mil,so i was thinking sort of the same , thanks for that.. Maybe they have looked at this thread and seeing your pictures of Pat was the decider!!

Pat's doing fine. He's hooked up with some tart in Brooklyn and gone off for a few days, but don't tell anyone it's bad for business.

driver/jimmy b,

yes, i left it a bit late after watching for a while but got in at 26.5p.

am interested in holding for a couple of years as i think the additional merchandising will lead to a serious re-rating in 2006/7 and a possible takeover.

the share price has been getting ahead of itself slightly and will pause occasionally, as it has been doing over the last week or so, but imho the SP has much further to go yet albeit at a slower pace.

regards
andy

Ive had a great run with NLR the last couple of days, so the small drop today shouldn't hurt , i think it will be a while before we pick up momentum again after the recent rise.Cheers . JB..
