I did read a piece about a lecturer in a Uni , who said that he'd studied muslim pupils over a few years and said it wasn't in his mind the Hate preachers that were the problem but the Parents wouldn't allow their sons and daughters to integrate or socialise or study with make friends with in any way fellow students . There were some very unhappy Muslim students out there as they wished to integrate .

that is true among other religious groupings .....

certainly if you are the son in a religious orthodox jewish household, if you marry out, then the family will say prayers for you as for the dead
