THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

The outers may not like Obama getting involved in the EU referendum, but he and his advisors are right in many areas.

Good morning campers.
I hope the weather is as good in the Northern Powerhouse as it is in the decadent south. Looks like a day for shorts at last. Trousers that is. I wouldn't dream of giving investment advice. :-)

I am 100m from the Thames. Nice and sunny. Mild breeze but that will ease up later. Good day to get into the garden. Soon the pool cover will be coming off. My dogs are sending me a message. They jump onto the winter cover so that it sinks into the water and they can splash about. I spend a minor fortune each year so they can cool off. I must get a cat next time.

Here's a good one for some knowledgeable person , when you go on a site let's say E-Bay , ok you leave that site then go to another site only to see E-Bay adverts come up on that site and other sites you go to , how does that work for E-Bay do they get paid , or do they have to pay the site that has their advert on , or is it a free for all . Just wondering .

there's a technical term for it, but it's to do with selective tracking of your interests by the computer software
