Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Granny's Boy.
There are more ways of giving than just opening your pockets.
USA military deaths in WW2 was over 407,300.
More than the UK.
The USA gave those lives up.
Many think they should have stayed out of Europe's (at the time's war). (They were supplying arms and ships to Britain before the Pacific War blew up.)

I thought you believed money was God.
Doctors want to sell their labour to the best price.
Why not?

You do make things up and to fit in with your argument as you go fred..
Those fatalities wern't just in the europe war theatre, it was mostly
in the Pacific fighting the Japs.
And your distaste for the British is palpable and so transparent..
the British suffered enough lost souls without your ilk belittling their efforts...

Hi all,
I've just joined and I do quite like this quiet board, but wondering if it's worth subscribing for the Traders' Room? Is there more happening there?

i assume you are a refugee from advfn where personal abuse seems to abound on many threads
FAR9 on advfn is at least polite and sensible and even informative!
on MAM, there are one or two rabids, but generally pretty good humoured

BHS
scathing attack on philip green in the guardian and quite rightly so too
he was always a very sharp cookie indeed and has managed to use the tax avoidance rules to the maximum, and openly so too
however, there is no doubt that he stripped the company ruthlessly while allowing it to slide into decay with an ever-growing pension fund deficit
is it possible to stop such abuse?
certainly there was nothing hidden in what he did, and i can't see quite what could be done

Rabids or rabbits C? The compulsive posting of some seems to indicate one trait:
Rabbits should be kept in pairs. Companionship is key to the welfare of rabbits – without the company of another neutered rabbit they get lonely and bored.
With regards Marlow, I suppose you know the Marlow- Bisham suspension bridge was a smaller and earlier version of the Pest-Buda Chain Bridge. Both were designed by the english Clark, while the scottish Clark, no relation, supervised the construction of the Széchenyi bridge.
All the bridges over the Danube were blown by the Germans to slow the Russian advance in WW2, including the spans of the Széchenyi bridge.
