THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I read somewhere the pension pot was in positive territory before he took over , but now in the negative by a few hundred million .

Stan - 28 Apr 2016 11:13 - 70503 of 81564

Green is just a typical scrounging wide boy so what else would you expect?

cynic - 28 Apr 2016 11:22 - 70504 of 81564

rabbits generally fuck off; unfortunately the rabids do not, and there's the difference :-)

i do indeed know the bridge over the danube ....... i have pix of it from last year when i was there for a conference

cynic - 28 Apr 2016 11:44 - 70505 of 81564

Oklahoma court: oral sex is not rape if victim is unconscious from drinking
an extraordinary case and verdict, the story of which is in today's guardian

Stan - 28 Apr 2016 11:54 - 70506 of 81564

Put that paper down and get back to work and stop skiving Alf.

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 12:13 - 70507 of 81564

Ken Livingstone being made to look a right tw** on the DP. Right now....

jimmy b - 28 Apr 2016 12:17 - 70508 of 81564

Seems Stan is infecting the traders thread with his crap as well now.

Stan - 28 Apr 2016 12:20 - 70509 of 81564

Speak for yourself.

cynic - 28 Apr 2016 12:25 - 70510 of 81564

70508 - what is DP.? ....... anyway, just read the article on yahoo ...... reckon mentor is his alter ego!

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 12:27 - 70511 of 81564

I'm loving it...There's boy Clegg and Livingstone having a barny, Livingstone bringing up Hitler, John Mann had a go at Livingstone on their way into the studio's...

Thought i'd seen it all..LOL!

Livingstone the apologist for the Jew haters...

About time the establishment got a bloody nose instead of UKIP getting crucified for the smallest aboration....

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 12:28 - 70512 of 81564

cynic Daily Politics bbc2

iturama - 28 Apr 2016 12:49 - 70513 of 81564

An aboration is UKIP getting 12.7% of the popular vote in the 2015 GE and winning one seat while the SNP had 4.7% and 56 seats. In fact all the minor parties had far less of the popular vote than UKIP but, bar the Greens, ended up with more seats.
Livingstone claims Hitler was a Zionist. There is no fool like an old fool. His day has long past but he doesn't see it.

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 13:06 - 70514 of 81564

Well could'nt agree with you more iturama, a total travesty of justice..

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 13:11 - 70515 of 81564

The Daily Politics was quiet a lively program today, even Hitchens was in
argumentative combat on the lax stance now being taken on drugs...

Well worth a watch on bbc iplayer.

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 13:30 - 70516 of 81564

Haha. Livingstone has been suspended...

grannyboy - 28 Apr 2016 13:49 - 70517 of 81564

This is what Osborne said before the national living wage came into effect...

'Osborne warns firms not to cut perks on back of
National Living wage'

bbc.co.uk/news/business-36082247

Buts that's exactly whats happening, along with overtime and Sunday
rates being cut back..

So it dosn't surprise anyone when they see the recent rise in
unemployment, when employers are either delaying employing
anyone or laying people off.

And nothing to do with the uncertainty of a Brexit, like the remainers
would have believe..

Haystack - 28 Apr 2016 14:01 - 70518 of 81564

UKIP getting one seat is perfect, well almost. We will have to wait for a few of years before they get zero.

Haystack - 28 Apr 2016 14:07 - 70519 of 81564

Livingstone said on daily politics that Hitler supported Zionism,

He has been suspended for bringing the party into disrepute (which is quite difficult these days).

cynic - 28 Apr 2016 14:28 - 70520 of 81564

LIVING WAGE AND PERKS
as freebies cannot be counted as payment in kind, it is surely no surprise that many companies are cutting back on free lunches and the like

iturama - 28 Apr 2016 17:24 - 70521 of 81564

Now that a jury has decided that 96 of our countrymen were unlawfully killed, and North Yorkshire police has unequivocally accepted the verdicts, its about time that the government sent in assessors and sorted out compensation for the dead and injured.
Its not right that the families now have to sue with all the costs and delays that involves. In the end it will be the public purse that pays so Theresa May should get on with it.
We have to pay up promptly for failing countries in the EU and outside with foreign aid or bribes. Charity begins at home, or ought to. However in this case it is not charity, it's compensation for 27 years of lies and arse covering by senior public officials.
