Jeff - I tried that and it doesn't work.

jeffmack - 02 Jun 2004 14:00 - 7056 of 23498

Ian / Gianni

I'll let the dog sort it next time he is in.

Snoball
It's early to bed for me when 'she who must be obeyed' is away, no pizza, especially before bedtime. Heartburn doesn't come into it!

Optomistic
Nothing new on Manston yet, keep taking the tablets.

daves dazzlers
"Does this cafe have internet", you cannot be serious or are you communicating by carrier pigeon?

Golddog
Ref. e-mails, maybe dotel's porn filter is switched on!

Good evening all, it's a bit early for some but us day workers are just coming home and starting to relax a bit. Mind you, have to go trolley racing tonight as I have run out of things to eat. My cooking skills are not too bad, as anyone who has sampled my sherry trifle will attest, but after a days graft I don't run much beyond opening a pack and attacking with drawn microwaves.

I fed the cat and now he is drawing himself up to his full height and falling asleep again.

Thought for the day:

What does DYMANITE do?

It goes BNAG!

Socrates - 02 Jun 2004 19:29 - 7058 of 23498

I'm back...........Oh never mind. I'll just sit and amuse myself in the corner.

optomistic - 02 Jun 2004 19:42 - 7060 of 23498

Hello Socs did you get some more cat food? I've heard they need feeding most weeks :-)
Hello Dotel

Socrates - 02 Jun 2004 19:43 - 7061 of 23498

Hello Dotel, how charming. I thought I was all alone. Just come back from trolley racing at Tesco's where I have stocked up my freezer.

I don't know how you manage to stay awake all day when you seem to be posting in here till the early hours. I couldn't do it, too old and cream crackered all the time.

dotel - 02 Jun 2004 19:48 - 7062 of 23498

'ello opto

Well there you go, Socks, the secret of yoof. Who says I'm not cream-crackered? Life's too short to spend too much of it asleep though ;)

optomistic - 02 Jun 2004 19:51 - 7063 of 23498

You know the saying Socs 'strength goes in at the mouth'. Must be something in the water, will get GD to check whats coming out of the taps!!

optomistic - 02 Jun 2004 19:54 - 7064 of 23498

Dotel do you really get cream-crackered?

optomistic - 02 Jun 2004 19:59 - 7065 of 23498

Thanks for keeping an eye on Manston Socs, 18% tonneage increase seems OK to me.

Socrates - 02 Jun 2004 20:25 - 7066 of 23498

Dotel
I'm rather relieved, I thought I was the only one who got cream crackered. I hope I didn't keep you waiting for a reply, I've just been chasing down an ancestor who is being a bit reluctant to creep out of the crowd. I think I've got a bead on him but will have to go to Kew to confirm it.

Opto
It should not be the water, I rarely drink it except when it's had a tea bag somewhere near it.

jeffmack - 02 Jun 2004 22:04 - 7067 of 23498

Go Wiggy Go

Golddog - 02 Jun 2004 22:52 - 7068 of 23498

Hi everyone.

Regarding emails i have not recieved any from anyone since back from my holiday. The Mam internal email does not work (i checked by sending myself one and got nothing!) although the address was correct. The email link above should provide you with my address i have tried it and it works unless it is only AOL compatible?

Gianni, I therefore have not received any email from you?

my address is sharesgolddog@aol.com

I have sent a few internal emails to people in the last week or so including Vasey, bunny and so on, whether you got them or not who knows?

A 2 pint Bods please.

optomistic - 02 Jun 2004 23:15 - 7069 of 23498

jj50 - 02 Jun 2004 23:25 - 7072 of 23498

Evening everybody.

GD. Do you want me to send you an external message to check your e-mail is working? I'll try one of those Bods, please but not a 2 pinter - haven't had one of those since I lived in Munich and my delicate little arm really can't take the weight!

STORMCALLER - 02 Jun 2004 23:32 - 7073 of 23498

A pitiful moan is heard from the floor, "just a half I'll make do with a half!!"

jj50 - 02 Jun 2004 23:35 - 7074 of 23498

Stormcaller, I'll serve you a guinness and would you like something to eat with that?
