The Calendar for next week has been updated -- note that the minutes from the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors meeting, scheduled to be released Tuesday, now will be delayed until Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST, due to the NYSE and Nasdaq closures on Jan 2 in honor of President Ford.

Three times since the end of November it's found support at around 1.9440.

This time it looks like it might have the momentum to take it, but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Divetime - 04 Jan 2007 09:16 - 7072 of 11056

Missed the first part of that move but caught the second leg, let`s see what PMI can do.

Divetime - 04 Jan 2007 10:42 - 7073 of 11056

Hilary Your 1.9440 looks like resistance now.

hilary - 04 Jan 2007 10:45 - 7074 of 11056

10-min showing signs of turning up now, Divetime. I covered my short ahead of the PMI and am sitting on my hands for now.

hilary - 04 Jan 2007 10:49 - 7075 of 11056

I should add that I see the bottom of the current channel at just below 1.94.

hilary - 04 Jan 2007 11:25 - 7076 of 11056

I'm looking at a number of lines and a lot of them are probably meaningless, but I've highlighted in red the main channel that I'm looking at.

Gausie - 04 Jan 2007 22:37 - 7077 of 11056

Am trading forex futs full time again - anyone here interested in a chatroom like in the old trainspotters/futsteam days?

Also, I'd be interested to compare rates - for futs I pay a fixed fee of less than $5 per side, roughly 200 sides a day. I've recently been speaking to a firm that intend to aggressively win new business and could well offer a far better rate.
