Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Will the UK take up the Euro? Will it move closer from an administration point of view? The EU/Europa is a vision of Europe, it isn't Europe, and in or out, it isn't one the UK will be following; it won't be tying the knot. To that end the relationship is over; sometimes even though you love each other, you have to move on.
Cheers,
KidA

Transparent and democratic institutions
As it continues to grow, the EU remains focused on making its governing institutions more transparent and democratic. More powers are being given to the directly elected European Parliament, while national parliaments are being given a greater role, working alongside the European institutions. In turn, European citizens have an ever-increasing number of channels for taking part in the political process.

Well isn't that the typical response from the "don't know and don't want to know" brigade.

much more interesting .....
there's a crowd of about 20 red kites circling very low that i can see just outside my office window
don't know if you get them in your area (yet), but they're fantastic and huge - ie same size and wingspan as a buzzard
