Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

there's a crowd of about 20 red kites circling very low that i can see just outside my office window
don't know if you get them in your area (yet), but they're fantastic and huge - ie same size and wingspan as a buzzard

they were (re)introduced near high wycombe about 15 years ago, and have certainly spread as far as windsor and virginia water ...... don't know how far west they have spread

Has anyone used airbnb? I have just booked for the first time. Seems like magic internet enablement. No wonder its valuation is so high.

Just the economy , not one bit of concern for communities that take the brunt of this mass immigration , just selfish greed in the end for some .The only interest is themselves and what advantage they can make . Any body who thinks it's white communities that suffer through these times should look around , seeing reports of Asian areas in conflict with the Slovaks . Asians see lazy layabout slovaks , this is the future ladies and gentlemen .

Victim
It always comes down to economics in the end.
Have you seen the effect that the loss of a major source of employment has on a community?. Without a healthy economy we cannot fund our social services.
It is always economics, communities, towns and cities are formed because of economics.
People move because of economics.
Victim...stop acting as one. Stop always painting the UK as a victim.
Be positive.

will10 you are correct re the economy, without wealth creation countries will struggle to finance their projects and services and immigration is part of becoming wealthier however, when you overload any system it is likely to break down. That is what is happening now, we are being overrun, and our services are being stretched beyond their limits.
This combined with the incredibly stupid monetary policies (around the world) which are actually stunting growth is why the majority of folk are not feeling trapped.

I do not disagree. Maybe change last sentence with now instead of not.
Politics is all blaa bla bla. Economics has the final say.
