MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Gausie - 24 Apr 2009 13:29 - 7086 of 8631

you just want a Barry set up on BBs

Tabs - it seems to me that Bazza may have already set himself up. On shareholders money.

Big Al - 24 Apr 2009 13:46 - 7087 of 8631

I'd like to know exactly why questions cannot be answered on a public forum. It seems the things that suit are placed there; why not the rest?

Checkmate, my ass! ;-0

Big Al - 24 Apr 2009 14:01 - 7090 of 8631

"it doesnt seem to me" - that figures. Blinkers working well, Tabatha? ;-))

Big Al - 24 Apr 2009 14:26 - 7091 of 8631

I've been re-reading the minutes of the meeting of April 4th (yes, I do read these things) and the options package on page 34. I see they're exercisable on an EBITDA of 2p. Am I being too cynical in suggesting this is an easy target and could be massaged by the unscrupulous.

EBITDA first came to prominence in my life during the tech boom. Anything unprofitable was judged on this. Most companies booming at that time, based on this measure of "success", have still to scale those heights even though they make money and even pay a divi - you know, real cash. ;-))

What happens if the 6m is not raised by the 30th??? Bust?

Andy - 24 Apr 2009 17:47 - 7092 of 8631

Big Al,

My guess is it won't be, and the offer period will be extended.

I think 6 million is quite a challenge in the current financial climate, and then who will have the funds to buy in the aftermarket on PLUS to support the price?

I suspect some will buy the CLN, and sell some of their already owned stock if it relists, a trick often played in Canada amongst other places.

But if they do, that will harm the SP upon relistsing.

Big Al - 24 Apr 2009 17:58 - 7093 of 8631

Andy - I think you're spot on. I personally think 6m in this climate is absolutely impossible and suspect tomorrow's meeting will confirm that. How do you value goodwill, MDX's only "asset", from where the world is now? Tangible is all people are interested in unless you already have a vested interest in keeping the thing afloat.

We'll no doubt hear all the usual things, future prospects, world beating products, etc, etc. The fact remains the company couldn't get the stuff making money in the environment we experienced until 12-18 months ago, so it's highly unlikely they'll do it now. Still a very strong chance this is dead IMO.

Gausie - 24 Apr 2009 19:02 - 7094 of 8631

Love the way the mugs discuss buying CLN.

wasn't that Calluna's epic too.......?

Big Al - 24 Apr 2009 19:03 - 7095 of 8631

LOL!
