II, Can I ask you if YOU are a holder of SEO? If not then WHY do you continue to post so much? I agree that everyone has their say and balanced perspectives need to be aired for everyone's benefit. But I do not understand where you are coming from?
Yes, even a complete idiot recognises that SEO is way overvalued at the moment but shareholders and institutions are punting on POTENTIAL. Isn't this what investing in small caps is all about?
All you seem to write is negative stuf! Is there anything GOOD about the company which you like?

Hey Mark - dont encourage him for Christs sake - he has on many occassions said that he does not own any shares - he just likes to give us the benefit of his many years of experience - which if you had take any notice of would have cost you a fortune. He is bound to be right sometime - but mainly he tries to scaremonger. There are many others who provide balanced analysis of this share without all the hystrionics.

Yes - SEO becomes a SETS MM share on Monday so this is a heads up for you.
You can read about SETS MM at -
http://freeserve.advfn.com/columns/robbie_burns.php
Mark - There is a great deal of potential upside with SEO - however it is very much in the realms of jam tomorrow or even the day after that - IMO there are problems which are being covered up - in the event I can see orders reaching the 500 level I would change my tune - however IMO we are not going to see that this year and there is a good chance neither next year too. A share like SE0 which is trading very much (too much) on future projected earnings it is a great risk - for me SE0 is now trading on 2008 projected earnings and news flow (which means Walmart is in the price already) - this is far too risky - the slightest delay or problem could and probably will bring it crashing down bringing great losses to many people. There are those who got in at 2.5p or 4p and any potential crash they will not be worried about - but for those in at the 20p to 30p plus there is a very great deal to lose IF things go wrong - IMO the recent downward changes to forecasts and slow order levels already stands out loud that problems are there - the question is how serious - in the event there are not 75 confirmed orders in place by October the 31st (the end of SEO financial year) my bearish sentiment will be confirmed as correct for me.
A lot of the present gain is from RHPS tips (14p up) - and history is scattered with the big rise and then the big drop after RHPS tips and later says its gone wrong so sell.

excellent news, some transparency in the SET`s dealing will be very welcome, it spells the end for rampers like PMT - and about time too.

Cyril hi,
29 March 2005
LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF SETSmm
Following its market consultation, the London Stock Exchange today announced the extension of SETSmm, its successful hybrid electronic order book, to cover 200 more securities.
The Exchange will introduce a phased rollout of the changes, beginning with the migration of 200 Small Cap securities on its Main Market in July 2005. Assuming this is successful, the remaining Small Cap securities will be migrated in December 2005.
Further work with market participants will be undertaken regarding the transfer of the most liquid AIM securities to SETSmm. The transfer of the most liquid AIM securities to SETSmm is being examined in conjunction with the introduction of a new benchmark AIM index, currently under development with FTSE International.
Commenting on the changes, Martin Graham, the Exchanges Director of Market Services, said:
Since its launch, SETSmm has been very successful in increasing liquidity and reducing trading costs and we are pleased to introduce the benefits of SETSmm to 200 more securities on our markets. These changes will bring real benefits to companies, investors and market participants, as well as enhancing Londons position as the most efficient cash equity market in Europe.
Alongside the extension of SETSmm, the Exchange will, subject to regulatory approval introduce a tailored incentive package for liquidity providers to ensure maximum opportunity for continued and deep liquidity provision in Small Cap securities.
In addition, the Exchange has set objective criteria upon which to judge whether securities are suitable for trading on SETSmm. This will ensure that securities are trading on the optimal platform and, where a particular security does not trade as expected, it will be transferred back to a quote-driven system.
In response to the recent consultation, the Exchange has decided not to implement a pilot reduction in tick-size for five SETS securities for the time being. The Exchange will continue to discuss with customers alternative means of testing whether a reduction in tick sizes would, in practice, benefit investors across the market.
Cheers,
PM

Hi All,
SETS should make it easier and cheaper for online trades, and should hopefully make it more likely, that you will be able to buy and sell the amount of stock you want to, rather than being limited to stupidly low trade size offers ....
Cheers,
PM

Cyril, basically-PMT- he doesn`t know, so he c&p`s this stuff above gleaned from a search engine- beware of PMT he is a ramper of a dozen or so small caps, evil and should be removed from this bb- as he was from ADVFN-he will appear to be avuncular, helpfull etc., while all the time driving home BUY references as he pumps and dumps, why MAM haven`t dumped him remains a mystery.
SEAQ trading relies on a number of market -makers to trade the cos. shares , they must display firm two-way prices for not less than the NMS (normal market size), which is fixed quarterly, there are many ways of holding back deals, for days if the NMS is exceeded.
SET`s trades are reported automatically, regardless of size, the SETS MM is a bastardisation of the two, still using market-makers,but allowing punters to show the price they are looking for on a virtual "black-board"
ps I doubt if PMT has ever traded on the SET`s market- beware of rampers.

Oven-ready laser sealing
27 May 2005
UK traysealing specialist Packaging Automation has collaborated with four other commercial companies and Loughborough University scientists to develop a non-contact laser sealing and inspection system for oven-ready meal packs which eliminates the need for conventional tooling.Suitable for ambient and chilled oven-ready meals, the system was developed as an alternative to conventional heatsealing in conjunction with The Recipe Dish Company, RPC Containers and FPP Packaging Solutions, laser supplier GSI Lumonics and researchers at Loughborough University's Mechatronics Research Centre in a DEFRA-sponsored FoodLINK project.Packaging Automation says it significantly reduces tooling costs, improves seal quality and reduces wastage. Laser sealing lights the way forward
A laser sealing and inspection system for oven-ready meals is the result of a DEFRA-sponsored project.
The sealing system can be used for ambient or chilled . It seals lidding film to food trays using a laser without the need for conventional tooling. The non-contact, flexible system can process multiple tray shapes on a single production line, and fast product changeovers can be achieved without resetting the sealing machinery. An added advantage is that the laser beam only cuts the lidding film once the seal has been made.
An advanced inspection system, using an embedded signature and computer vision technique, has also been developed which will check the seal quality of every pack. Tests have shown that laser seals are stronger than traditional methods, but have the added advantage of being easier to peel.
Knutsford-based Packaging Automation developed the equipment in conjunction with chilled ready meals producer The Recipe Dish Company, RPC Containers, laser manufacturer GSI Lumonics, FFP Packaging Solutions and academic partner Loughborough University,
